How much does God love you?
All of us are looking for that special love. We were created to crave a love that only God can give us. Find out what that means and how it can change your life.
How much does YHWH love us? His word says, MORE than we can possibly imagine. We’ve spent our whole life looking for love. He’s been here all the time Waiting for us to let Him in.
In Ephesians chapter 3, Paul prayed a beautiful prayer over us that we would come to know the full love of our Heavenly Father’s love.
Someone challenged me years ago to pray this prayer every night for 30 days and see how it changed my life and relationship with YHWH. Unintentionally I ended up praying it every night for six months. It seemed that the more I prayed it the more He revealed to me and the more I wanted to keep praying it. I didn’t want to stop seeing and feeling that level of love. He transformed me during those six months as He showed me the depth of His love for me, and for others. As He showed me how much He loved me, He also taught me how to love others through His eyes.
We are all craving a love that only He can give. I would challenge you to pray this prayer for thirty days and just see what He has in store for you.
Ephesians 3
For this reason, I fall on my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth receives its character. I pray that from the treasures of his glory he will empower you with inner strength by his Spirit, so that the Messiah may live in your hearts through your trusting. Also, I pray that you will be rooted and founded in love, so that you, with all God’s people, will be given strength to grasp the breadth, length, height and depth of the Messiah’s love, yes, to know it, even though it is beyond all-knowing, so that you will be filled with all the fullness of God. Amen
How much does YHWH love us? His word says, MORE than we can possibly imagine.
The love of God is one of the deepest and most profound mysteries of the faith. How much does He love us? His word says, “more than we can possibly imagine.” (Ephesians 3:18-19) What does that mean for us as women who are loved by him? It means that we can rest in His love, no matter what our circumstances may be. We can know that His love is perfect and unchanging, even when ours falters. And we can be assured that His love will never fail us, even when everyone else does. So take heart, dear sisters! Our Father’s love for us is more than we could ever ask or imagine. Let us rejoice in his goodness and compassion today!
YHWH’s love is so great that He sent His only Son to die for us
God’s love for us is so strong that He sacrificed His one and only Son for our sins. God reminds us not just of His unrelenting love but also of the truth and Shalom peace that comes from a Whole Bible study. As we read the whole story, God answers questions about eternity, morality, purpose, and our identity with loving words of truth in every word of the Bible. God is constantly reminding us that His love never fails. God loves us unconditionally and not just when we come to Him in prayers or when we do something good—but all the time; no matter what we do. Therefore, it is essential to read the whole Bible to get the truth of God’s word firsthand and understand how His love can be felt through the entire Word.
His love is more than just a feeling – it’s an action
Yeshua (Jesus) taught us that true love is more than a feeling — it’s an action. He has replaced fear, doubt and uncertainty with conviction, trust and faith in the truth from which the Holy Spirit works within us. Yeshua brings to life whole passages of scripture and ties stories together with relevant connections; giving us hope for the future as we learn and understand the entirety of His Word; He has been our ever-present answer in times of trouble. Yeshua reminds us not to forget the importance of knowing the whole story and how each book, chapter, and verse are connected to tell His love story to us, increasing and deepening our faith in Him as we look for clarity, direction and understanding. He reminds us His truth leads us back into a discussion about trusting Him, because trust is what Yeshua wants from His people even when it means being consistent and faithful through hard times. Yeshua has shown us the path of selfless love and has set an example for us throughout the Bible — He is the only true source of power — that calls on those who accept Him as the only Son of God – for us to lead lives filled with grace, mercy, forgiveness, humility and service.
His love is patient and kind, and it never fails
God’s love is unlike any other. It is patient, it is kind, and it never fails. He created us to crave a love that only He can fill. God encourages us to be the light in the darkness, reminding us of His truth and providing us with all the answers we need for life; turn to Him to be filled with His Shalom peace and joy. God’s love isn’t just seen in one book or a few parts of the Bible; if we read through the whole book, we can see God’s love displayed through all its stories. Every single part of the Bible has relevance and shows God’s infinite love for mankind – this should be our encouragement as we go out into a world full of pain and suffering. Take comfort knowing God’s love never fails and He will always be with you!
We can’t earn YHWH’s love, but we can show Him our love by obeying His commands
God loves us so deeply that His truth is revealed to us through His Word, and that gives us the answers to who God says we are. God’s love for us is unconditional and far-reaching, which is why He gives us the gift of His commands. When we boldly obey Him, it doesn’t increase God’s love for us, but it does show Him our own love for Him and commitment to serving Him. God already knows our hearts and He knows our desire is to follow Him, so when we actively put His truth into practice our actions back this up. God truly delights in us when we express our faith in Him!
When we feel alone or unloved, we can remember that YHWH is always with us and He loves us more than anyone else ever could
God is always with us, even when we feel totally alone and abandoned in this dark world. God’s truth can be that light in the darkness that brings peace and understanding in all circumstances. We may not understand what we are going through but we can understand that putting our faith in God will bring us peace in the wilderness. God may have been speaking to us, guiding us, the entire time- but it often takes those moments of loneliness or feeling unloved for us to actually listen and pay attention. God loves us more than any other individual ever could – He created us to crave His love and it fills us when we allow Him into our hearts. He gives us answers if we only open our hearts and minds to the teachings of the Bible which were written for our benefit and encouragement. Let God’s Word be a source of comfort when we feel all alone or unloved.
Though we are unworthy, YHWH loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for our sins so we wouldn’t have too. His love is more than a feeling – it’s an active Holy Spirit force that reaches out to us and commands us to do better. It never fails, even when we fail Him. And though we can’t earn YHWH’s love, we can show Him our own love by obeying His commands. When we feel alone or unloved, we can remember that YHWH is always with us and He loves us more than we can imagine. If you’re struggling today, know that there is hope in the Father. Turn back to Him, repent of your sins, and study the Bible from beginning to end – Genesis 1:1 all the way through Revelation’s last word. You are not alone.”
