Jesus invites us to approach God with the humility, dependence, openness, and trust of a child who knows she is deeply loved.
Chosen & Crowned is a faith-based community where women of all ages can grow in a personal relationship with Adonai, our Creator and the one true and living God.
We believe God sent His Son, Jesus the Messiah, to die for our sins. Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and sent Holy Spirit to be our Helper, Comforter, Teacher, and Guide.
God’s Word Is Our Foundation
Scripture tells us:
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.”
—2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT)
The first five books of the Holy Bible are known as the Torah. They establish the foundation for understanding creation, sin, covenant, obedience, God’s holiness, and His relationship with His people.
Yet God’s story does not end there.
From Genesis through Revelation, the Holy Bible reveals God’s character, His plan of redemption, and His invitation to know Him through Jesus.
As you study His Word, you will explore questions such as:
- Who is God?
- Who does God say I am?
- Does He truly love me?
- How can I recognize His purpose for my life?
- How can His Word help me navigate life’s difficulties?
- Why have I often felt as though I do not belong?
Consider These Questions
- Have you ever felt like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole?
- Have you struggled to understand where you belong?
- Have you felt overlooked, set aside, or left without meaningful connection?
If so, you are welcome here.
You may not find a quick answer to every question, but God’s Word provides the truth and foundation you need as you grow in your relationship with Him.
Holy Spirit helps us understand Scripture, recognize truth, and remain close to Jesus. He may also teach us through faithful pastors, teachers, and other believers who handle God’s Word faithfully, but Scripture teaches us that He is waiting for us to ask Him to teach us (Jeremiah 33:3). There is no greater teacher than Holy Spirit.

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.”

Why Chosen & Crowned Exists
During a significant season in her own life, Daisy felt God drawing her back to the Holy Bible with a new hunger to know Him personally.
She began studying the entire Bible from Genesis through Revelation rather than relying only on selected passages or what she had heard from others. As she studied, Holy Spirit helped her recognize God’s character, correct beliefs that did not agree with Scripture, and understand the depth of her Heavenly Father’s love.
Daisy created Chosen & Crowned in response to what she believes was God’s invitation to share that journey with other women.
Chosen & Crowned desires to provide a safe community where you can:
- Study the whole story of the Holy Bible
- Grow in your relationship with your Heavenly Father
- Know Jesus more personally
- Learn to recognize Holy Spirit’s teaching and guidance
- Bring your wounds and questions into God’s presence
- Discover who God says you are
- Find hope and purpose through His truth
You do not have to pretend that you have everything figured out.
You are invited to come as you are, open God’s Word, and discover that He is a loving, gracious, merciful, patient, and faithful Father.
Your Invitation
You have an opportunity to know Jesus personally and experience the freedom that grows as you learn to trust Him.
Holy Spirit is present to teach, comfort, correct, encourage, and guide you according to God’s Word.
Your Heavenly Father is inviting you to come closer into an intimate relationship with Him.
Come with an open Bible.
Come with an expectant heart.
Come ready to know Him personally.

“But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

What Does Chosen & Crowned Mean?
Chosen & Crowned is a community of women
who are responding yes to God’s invitation
and desire a deeper, personal relationship with Jesus.
Chosen reminds us that our identity begins with
the One to whom we belong.
Crowned reminds us that we are daughters of the King,
created with dignity, value, and purpose.
Our Commitment to God’s Word
At Chosen & Crowned, we study the whole story of the Holy Bible from Genesis through Revelation.
We celebrate the familiar passages that bring comfort, but we do not avoid the difficult Scriptures that challenge us, correct us, and help us understand God more fully.
As we study, we may discover truths we have never noticed,
passages we have misunderstood,
or beliefs that need to be reconsidered.
This is not an invitation to blame former
pastors, teachers, churches, or ourselves.
It is an invitation to return to God’s Word
with humility and an expectant heart.
As our Teacher, Holy Spirit helps us understand
Scripture and recognize truth.
As followers of Jesus, our desire should be to remain teachable,
test what we hear against Scripture, and continue growing
in our relationship with God.
The Story Behind Chosen & Crowned
In January 2019, Daisy sensed God leading her to begin building
a women’s ministry for a future purpose.
She believed His instruction was simple:
Build it as I lead you.
I will show you how it will be used at the appointed time.
The ministry was initially called The Esther Uprising,
inspired by the words:
“For such a time as this.”
Later that year same year, someone shared a prophetic message with Daisy that included the title:
Chosen & Crowned
At the time, Daisy did not fully understand how
God intended to use the name.
She held onto it prayerfully,
trusting that its purpose would become clear.
Over the following years, Chosen & Crowned has appeared as the title of a blog post and then as at title to a book series. Each time, Daisy sensed God reminding her:
“Good—but there is more.”
As the ministry continued developing,
Daisy continued studying Scripture and following God,
teaching her one step at a time.
Then the “appointed time” arrived in early June 2023;
she sensed His direction clearly:
“Now, change the name of the ministry to Chosen & Crowned.”
The name finally found its forever home.
Today, Chosen & Crowned continues growing into a safe haven
where women can open God’s Word, bring their questions
and wounds into His presence, and discover what it means to live as His chosen and dearly loved daughters.
This ministry’s story is still unfolding.

Foundation of Faith
I believe that our Heavenly Father, Adonai,
the One True Living God,
our Creator who gave us breath,
created us to worship and serve ONLY Him.
We were all created for
the incredible opportunity to share
the Good News, the love of Jesus, and
to fulfill the two most important commandments:
- Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.
- You are to love your neighbor as yourself.

I honor and worship Adonai, our God, Jesus our Messiah,
and the Holy Spirit,
above all else, and to bring Glory to His name.
Throughout the Bible,
our Holy Father uses the imperfect, the broken,
the overlooked, and the unknown
to show His immeasurable love and
spread the truth of His word.
This exciting news means that
regardless of what you and I have done,
Adonai our God can use us as we seek His heart.
He has set you apart for
a special purpose!
Seek Him for ALL things
“Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.”
