Have you ever wondered and asked YHWH, what is next for me? This is a question I have asked Him many times in my life. Does He hear us? How will we know His response? How will we know if we are going in the right direction? Let’s find the answer in John chapter 3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Then Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Several takeaways here: But the answer to your question of how will we know what is next and where to go?
First:
– You must be born again.
– He says, Don’t get hung up on being “born” again as Nicodemus did.
– Just focus on giving your heart to Yeshua.
– Repent and turn to Him.
Second: You must be baptized
– it is symbolic of washing away our sins
– we go into the water as the old sinful person, and we come up out of the water as the newly reborn believer in Yeshua our Messiah
Then your answer cometh: The Spirit will lead us.
– Once you give your heart to Yeshua and ask for forgiveness of your sins,
– The Holy Spirit moves in as your best friend so to speak – comforting you and leading you where He wants you to go
– When the Spirit leads you there will be peace regardless of circumstances.
Why did God create us? What is our purpose?

To love and be loved
To love and be loved is part of our essential nature, as we are all made in the image of a loving God. In the Bible, 1 Corinthians reminds us that “Love is patient, love is kind…it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres”(1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Love is His gift to us and a reminder of how He loves us unconditionally. So do not be afraid to open your heart and let it love Him! When we freely give our love to Him we receive a priceless reward – that of being allowed to experience the love He created us to crave, His unfathomable love. He also created us to love others, and to spread His love to others. Loving selflessly is difficult but brings true joy, satisfaction and can even alleviate stress. Open you heart today so you may both give and receive love!
To have a personal relationship with God
Having a personal relationship with God is fundamental to having an intimate, meaningful connection with your creator. This relationship isn’t one of servitude or obligation: it is a spiritual partnership grounded in love. Isaiah 48:18 says, “O, that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river,” teaching us that trusting in our creator and observing His will can bring peace, joy and blessings into our lives. A relationship with God should bring comfort and strength, making hardship easier to bear while providing joyous occasions to celebrate. If you long to have a personal relationship with God, He is indeed waiting for you; through prayer and whole Bible study, you can start building that most important of connection right away.
To glorify and enjoy God
As believers, we are called to glorify and enjoy God in every area of our lives. The Bible teaches us to “give [God] glory through Yeshua our Messiah” (Romans 15:6) as we meditate on His perfect love, mercy and grace towards us. Every moment of every day offers a unique opportunity to acknowledge God’s greatness. When we pause to lift up His name in prayer or explore the beauty of creation, it brings us joy and satisfaction deep within our souls. Let us not take for granted the gift of being able to worship Him or the wonder of experiencing spiritual transformation by trusting only in His power. He is worthy of all our praise!
To bear His image
To bear His image is a calling of the highest honor for God’s children. It is a privilege to be a reflection of Almighty God, reflecting not only characteristics that He has placed in us, but also qualities which emulate the very nature of our Lord and Savior Yeshua our Messiah. For this is truly what it means to bear His image—to strive to reflect Him in both thought and deed. The scripture tells us “Let this mind be in you which was also in Yeshua our Messiah” (Philippians 2:5). May we each respond to God’s invitation by embracing such sincerity, humbling ourselves before Him, washing our hearts with His Word, and seeking after righteousness so that together we may reflect His glory.
For His good pleasure
God delights in doing what is good. His ultimate plan for his children is to bring us joy and everlasting Shalom peace with Him. God’s good pleasure is to lavish us with his mercy and grace, delivering us from hardship and comforting us when the world’s hardships become too unbearable. He wants us to savor the sweet moments in life and be determined through our faith that everything will work out for our own good if we continue to trust in Him. Through scripture, we are reminded again and again that everything that He does – every blessing, every trial – it’s all meant for our growth closer to Him and as individuals made in His image. In this turbulent world we say “wow” when miracles happen or peace returns unexpectedly—this is all a reminder of God smiling on us even while the world shakes around us…and this brings great joy!
Because He is sovereign and we are His handiwork
We can be filled with joy and comfort in the knowledge that no matter what difficulties we face, we serve a sovereign God who created us in His own image. He knows our hearts, hears our prayers, sees our struggles, and loves us unconditionally. Knowing that He is powerful and omnipresent gives us assurance that He will sustain us even when circumstances seem bleak. Because God is capable of all things, there is always hope because His promises never fail. He provides success through humble obedience and desires for us to fix our eyes on Him so that by grace we are fruitful in every endeavor. May our trust in Him remain steadfast even as we continually remember He is sovereign and we are His handiwork.
As Believers, we are not promised an easy life without problems but we are guaranteed that God will work all things out for our good. He has given us everything we need to live a godly life and fulfill the purpose He designed for us. Love God, love others, and bear His image. Study the whole Bible so you can be equipped to glorify Him in all you do. If you are struggling today, know that God loves you and wants to help you through whatever it is you’re facing. Trust Him and turn to Him – He will always welcome you back with open arms.
