So many choices of gods to worship and follow. Choose today to serve your creator, the only living One True God
How many gods are there? Too many to count! Each one vying for your attention, your time, your energy, your worship. It can be overwhelming trying to keep track of them all. Who should you serve?
Here are some questions to ponder: What god should you follow? Which is the easiest? Which one makes you feel good? Which one allows you to do what you want with no consequences? Our world today offers countless god options? How is one supposed to decide who to serve? Or should you serve them all, or pick and choose buffet-style?
Here’s some good news: you can choose to serve the only One True God. The living God who created you and loves you more than you can imagine. He is the only God worthy of your praise, worship and allegiance. Serve Him today with all your heart, soul, and mind. Let his truth guide your every step. Trust Him to lead you in the path of righteousness for His namesake. He alone is worthy of your praise!
So many gods to choose from
YHWH, our God, our Creator, is alive! He knows us so well because He created us and even more incredibly He loves us deeply. His Holy Spirit lives within His believers, encouraging us and guiding us through every moment of our lives. When we are faced with so many different gods to choose from, it’s vitally important to remember that Adonai our God stands above all others and that He alone is our Heavenly Father. God is the breath of life in us and the bread of life for us. God loves His children unconditionally and even sent Yeshua His only son to die for our sins so that we have a hope of being redeemed. No matter what happens God will still remain God — His love, care and presence never waivers. God is hope; God is peace; God is love; God is joy! Let’s take some time to appreciate who God really is today and serve only Him. Mediate only on His love and His promises in His Holy Word; that will bring you pure joy and Shalom-peace in a world of chaos and mental illness.
How do we know who is the real one
YHWH our Heavenly Father, has made sure that by His Word and His Spirit we are able to discern between the false prophets and teachers to determine what is truth. On the path of following Yeshua, there are many obstacles and deceitful people who wish to lead us astray. By aligning what we hear or read with The Holy Bible through studying scripture, by prayer and seeking YHWH – The Creator – for discernment by His Spirit; we will know who is His sent-ones. In order for us to know who is truly speaking by YHWH’s Spirit it is important that we test everything by God’s Word to make sure that it aligns with His Word that has already been revealed by Him.
What are the benefits of following the one true God
When we choose to follow the one true God, we open our lives up to joy and promise of spending eternity with Him. His Holy Spirit dwells within us to guide us and bring us comfort in those moments when it feels like no one else can help. The Holy Spirit has provided protection and provision through the ages, fighting our battles on our behalf and showing mercy to His faithful. We do not have to fear being lost in the wilderness, because even there He will be with us providing for us, bringing hope, joy, Shalom, and deep abiding love beyond anything we can imagine.
Why is it important to serve only Him
Serving only Him is the only way to ensure that we are prepared to spend eternity with Him in His Heavenly Kingdom. Yeshua, the Son of God and our Savior, stated, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). All other paths lead us away from Him and sadly there will be special judgement circumstances imposed upon those who don’t follow Him. Imagine spending eternity in perfect joy with your Creator. That kind of hope can never be found in any other way here on earth, but it’s there waiting for you if you accept Him into your heart today. Turn to Him today and allow yourself to experience indescribable Shalom-peace, joy, and love – by diving into a firsthand relationship with the Father and serving Him faithfully.
How can we make sure our children know and follow the one true God as well
To ensure our children follow the one true God, we must first follow His commandments wholeheartedly. We are called to observe His commandments, follow His teachings and retell these stories to our children so that they follow the same path to truth and knowledge. It is also important for us to observe His appointed feasts faithfully; this way, our children will recognize the feasts of the Lord, as we teach them what they symbolize in their core meaning and significance even before they understand it fully. These are NOT Jewish feasts, they are God’s appointed feasts for all His followers.
Finally, we must ensure that our families honor the Sabbath day in such a way that emulates reverence for God – by coming together to pray, read His word and participate in activities focused on glorifying Him. Doing all this will please the Father as we help generations follow after Him with joy – one day at a time.

Study the whole Bible from Genesis 1:1 to the last word in Revelation. He will show you Himself and provide everything you need for a blessed life now and forever. As we close this post, may we all remember these powerful words from Deuteronomy 6:4-5: “The Shema”
