Have you ever thought about Noah and his supplies on the ark? (Genesis 7) It wasn’t just about the animals. Consider the wine he took on the ark. Did he have enough to last until the water receded? The Wine supply on the ark would have lasted only so long. Once he was on dry land, he would have had so many things to do to get setup in a new life and settled. As for the vineyard, it would take him years to get a vineyard growing again after the flood. (Genesis 9:20)
For those who may not know or have considered, A grapevine has to be grown, trained, and pruned for the first few years to get it strong and ready to bear good fruit in the 4th year. The roots have to get strong and grow deep to get the minerals to grow and bear good fruit. It is then that grapes can be harvested and wine made. Just like us, when we become believers we have to grow in YHWH’s word and truth, be trained, and pruned before we are ready to bear good fruit and serve Him well.
So how do we make sure our roots grow deep and strong and avoid the bad minerals in order to bear good fruit? Obedience over time. Stay the course and let the process work for you. Just like the vineyard master trains the limbs to grow across the lines so that the vines can get sun and grow, we must let Yeshua train us in which way we need to go
In order to grow from exposure to the S O N. He is the vine, we are the branches. Apart from Him we are nothing.
John 15:5
If we compare ourselves to how a grapevine develops we will hopefully give ourselves grace and mercy as we grow in our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

In the midst of uncertainty, we can put our trust in the messages of hope and new beginnings echoed in the beginning of the first vineyard. As scripture says in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths”. This reminder that we can find peace and promise amidst life’s struggles is a gift given to us through this first symbol of hope—the vineyard. May it inspire us to place our faith in God’s continued support and guidance as we embark on new beginnings!

God planted the first vineyard as a beautiful metaphor for His faithfulness and love. By rewarding His people with a grape harvest after difficult times, God was telling us that He will always be our source of sustenance. Despite life’s struggles, God is showing us that our needs will be provided for, if we stay close to Him. Through the first vineyard, may we remember to praise God for His steadfastness in our lives every day and give thanks for even the small blessings in life – knowing He will supply when needed most.
The first vineyard was a reminder that even in the midst of destruction, life can still go on
The Bible tells us that God works all things together for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28). This message can be seen in the first vineyard, which reminds us that even in the midst of destruction and despair, life is still possible. It is a testament to how resilient and robust nature can be when given the chance, counteracting the damages wreaked by tragedy. Along with being a witness to strength and hope, it is also an example of faithfulness and trust. Despite what was taken away from them due to destruction, these people still trusted that life could be created from nothingness once more. Even though it may seem unbearable at times, in remembering this vineyard as an example of persevering against all odds, we too are reminded that whatever we face can be worked for our ultimate good too!
Noah’s planting of the first vineyard is significant in many ways. It was a symbol of hope and new beginnings, faithfulness and reminder that even when everything around us is destroyed, life can still go on. Noah’s story can inspire as it reminds us that even though we might find ourselves in a season when we have lost everything, God will provide and we can begin anew regardless of the dire circumstances.
