You may not realize it, but God is doing something new in you. Want to find out what?
As we are hustling and bustling through our days, so busy we can’t find time to stop and take a breath, YHWH is doing things in us and through us that we may not even be aware. When we observe His gift of Sabbath, get rest and recharge weekly, He is able to show us some of the things He is doing.
When we spend time with Him daily studying and getting to know Him, He is able to tell us things and show us, and lead us in the direction He wants us to go. He has so many gifts for us that He wants to give to us, if we will just stop and spend time with Him. Even in our darkest moments and toughest trials, that He calls, deserts and wasteland, areas where it’s hard to hold onto hope all by ourselves, He is there!
Who wants eternal gifts? I do!
YHWH’s word says in
Isaiah 43
Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new; it’s springing up—can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland. No matter what is going on in our lives, or has gone on in our past, our Heavenly Father is always working the plan for our lives that He created us for.
God is doing something new in you. Can you see it?
We all know what it feels like to be stuck in the same old routines day in and day out. Even when we want to break free and do something new, it can be hard to take that first step. But what if God is actually doing something new in you? Something worth breaking out of your comfort zone for; or as I call it, an “out of the boat” moment. According to Isaiah 43, He is. And He has great things planned for you. So ask yourself, are you ready to see what God is up to? If so, keep reading.
God is always doing something new
What an amazing truth it is, that God is always doing something new and bringing life out of barren places! His love for His creation is evident in how He continually brings better things into being. In Isaiah 43:19, it says “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” Nobody knows the depths of God’s power to bless us beyond what we can see–He is infinitely creative and caring towards us. He loves us deeply and His timing and plans are perfect. No matter what circumstances you may find yourself in, be assured that God has something new in store for everyone who will accept His perfect plan of restorative grace. So don’t give up hope–God is always moving on our behalf and creating something amazing! Trust Him.
We may not always see it, but it’s there
God is always with us, even if we don’t recognize it in the moment. His comforting presence brings forth the realization that He is everywhere, hearing and watching over each of us. Not only does He provide steadfast assurance, but He will never leave our side. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Even on our loneliest days when help seems nowhere in sight, remember this verse- and God’s love -will be there no matter what. Let His guidance light your way and give you hope!
Be encouraged that God is at work in you
Our God is an awesome God! There is nothing too hard for Him and every single one of our challenges have already been weighed in His loving hands. He cares about us deeply, waiting with open arms for us to seek out His will for our lives. By studying the scriptures, we can be encouraged that the amazing work He has set forth to do in us is possible. Whether that be uncovering new gifts or propelling us further in the paths we are currently on, He desires to continually shape and form us more into His image. We can trust that when we expend our efforts towards following Him, through prayer, study and obedience, transformation takes place in our hearts. What an incredible blessing it is to be a follower of Yeshua and recognize the relentless love of an all powerful Creator striving daily to make change within each one of us.
Pray for eyes to see what God is doing
As we turn our eyes towards the Lord, He will begin to open our spiritual eyes so that we may better understand how He is working in our lives and communities. The Bible encourages us to always be seeking the Lord’s guidance and His way of doing things. “You have seen what I have done; now you should consider what I am doing” (Isaiah 45:19 NLT). By taking time each day to stop and ask for the eyes of understanding, God will give us insight into what He is doing. It’s through prayer that we can learn to recognize His movement in all aspects of life. Pray for eyes to see with more clarity and trust that He is at work!
Trust that God is good and His plans for you are too
No matter what life throws our way, we can always trust that the plans God has for us are beautiful and perfect. He desires nothing but the best for us and knows exactly what our heart needs. His grace is ever-flowing and will never stop supplying us with enough mercy to bear whatever storms may come. Rest assured that God never puts anything before our wellbeing, no matter how difficult the circumstance or how heavy the burden. We just need to place our faith in Him and know that trusting in His goodness is always worth it. He has only promises and blessings coming our way!
