We are excited to reveal our new series for 2022 where we will share quick truths from our Heavenly Father’s Word that you may have never been taught or learned in church.
Join The Esther Uprising, weekly, as Daisy shares Bible truths in the weekly lessons that are only a few minutes long. Our intention with the “Did You Know” series is to spark your interest to dive deeper into our Heavenly Father’s Word and learn for yourself what The Holy Bible says firsthand.
Who is Daisy? What qualifies me to spread the Good News to you?
Ephesians 3, to me, though I am the very least of all, this grace was given to me, to preach to the lost the unsearchable riches of our Messiah, and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in our God, who created all things. I assume that you have heard of the work YHWH in his grace has given me to do for your benefit, and that it was by a revelation that this secret plan was made known to me. I have already written about it briefly, and if you read what I have written, you will grasp how I understand this secret plan concerning the Messiah.
Galatians 1 But when God, who picked me out before I was born and called me by his grace, chose to reveal his Son to me, so that I might announce him to the Gentiles, I did not consult anyone;
John 13, He said, I know which ones I have chosen.
1 Corinthians 1 Those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, this same Messiah is God’s power and God’s wisdom! For God’s “nonsense” is wiser than humanity’s “wisdom.” And God’s “weakness” is stronger than humanity’s “strength.” Just look at yourselves, look at those whom God has called! Not many of you are wise by the world’s standards, not many wield power or boast noble birth.
But why me, Why would He choose me to spread the Good News? I’m no one special. There are much more qualified people than me.
1 Corinthians 1, But YHWH chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; He chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong; and chose what the world looks down on as common or regards as nothing in order to bring to nothing what the world considers important; so that no one should boast before God.
Colossians 1 I became a servant of the Good News because God gave me this work to do for your benefit. The work is to make fully known the message from YHWH, the secret hidden for generations, for ages, but now made clear to the people he has set apart for himself. To them YHWH wanted to make known how great among the Gentiles is the glorious richness of this secret. And the secret is this: the Messiah is united with his people! In that rests your hope of glory! I, for my part, proclaim him; I warn, confront and teach everyone in all wisdom; so that I may present everyone as having reached the goal, united with the Messiah. It is for this that I toil, striving with all the energy that he stirs up in me so mightily.
Colossians 2 My purpose is that you may be encouraged, that you may be joined together in love, and that you may have all the riches derived from being assured of understanding and fully knowing God’s secret truth, which is—the Messiah! It is in him that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. Well, if He chose me to help spread the Good News, what am I supposed to do?
Ephesians 5, We are to be imitators of God, as beloved children. Was this my idea? Emphatically, NO!
John 15 He says You did not choose me, I chose you; and I have commissioned you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that whatever you ask from the Father in my name he may give you.
So I am to strive daily for the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5) What are those? love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. He who has set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the lost, I did not immediately consult with anyone, I was shocked that He chose me That he called me. I was like Moses when he was called to lead YHWH’s chosen people out of Egypt, I kept telling YHWH to call someone else. I kept telling Him that I wasn’t qualified. He told me, I chose you. He said, I don’t call the qualified, I qualify the called. Ok, Father, What do I do?
1 Corinthians 15 What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
John 15 – Zechariah 13
To prepare me to serve Him we need to welcome pruning and refining to remove anything in us that isn’t fruitful.
1 Corinthians 13, To spread the gospel we must love. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 10 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 9 In offering this service you prove to these people that you glorify God by actually doing what your acknowledgment of the Good News of the Messiah requires, namely, sharing generously with them and with everyone.
2 Corinthians 10 So, let anyone who wants to boast, boast about Adonai; because it is not the one who recommends himself who is worthy of approval, but the one whom the Lord recommends. Therefore, to keep me from becoming overly proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from the Adversary to pound away at me, so that I wouldn’t grow conceited. Three times I begged the Lord to take this thing away from me; but he told me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is brought to perfection in weakness.” Therefore, I am very happy to boast about my weaknesses, in order that the Messiah’s power will rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12 Yes, I am well pleased with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and difficulties endured on behalf of the Messiah; for it is when I am weak that I am strong.
Philippians 3 But the things that used to be advantages for me, I have, because of the Messiah, come to consider a disadvantage. Not only that, but I consider everything a disadvantage in comparison with the supreme value of knowing the Messiah Yeshua as my Lord. It was because of him that I gave up everything and regard it all as garbage, in order to gain the Messiah and be found in union with him, not having any righteousness of my own based on legalism, but having that righteousness which comes through the Messiah’s faithfulness, the righteousness from God based on trust. Yes, I gave it all up in order to know him, that is, to know the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings as I am being conformed to his death, so that somehow I might arrive at being resurrected from the dead. It is not that I have already obtained it or already reached the goal— no, I keep pursuing it in the hope of taking hold of that for which the Messiah Yeshua took hold of me. I, for my part, do not think of myself as having yet gotten hold of it; but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind me and straining forward toward what lies ahead, I keep pursuing the goal in order to win the prize offered by God’s upward calling in the Messiah Yeshua.
1 Corinthians 7 I am a widow who is Now concerning myself with the Lord’s affairs, with how to be holy both physically and spiritually
2 Corinthians 3 It is not that I am competent in myself to count anything as having come from me; on the contrary, My competence is from God.
2 Corinthians 2 But thanks be to God, who in the Messiah constantly leads us in a triumphal procession and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of what it means to know him!
2 Corinthians 1 Praise be to YHWH, Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, compassionate Father, God of all encouragement and comfort; Moreover, it is YHWH who sets us in firm union with the Messiah; he has anointed us, put his seal on us, and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee for the future.
2 Corinthians 4 God has shown us such mercy that we do not lose courage as we do the work he has given us. We have all kinds of troubles, but we are not crushed; we are perplexed, yet not in despair; persecuted, yet not abandoned; knocked down, yet not destroyed. We always carry in our bodies the dying of Yeshua, so that the life of Yeshua may be manifested in our bodies too. This is why we do not lose courage. Though our outer self is heading for decay, our inner self is being renewed daily.
2 Corinthians 5 He died on behalf of all in order that those who live should not live any longer for themselves but for the one who on their behalf died and was raised. Therefore, if anyone is united with the Messiah, he is a new creation— the old has passed; look what has come is fresh and new! Therefore we are all ambassadors of the Messiah; in effect, God is making his appeal through us. What we do is appeal on behalf of the Messiah, “Be reconciled to God!
Philippians 1 Together we must conduct our lives in a way worthy of the Good News of the Messiah; so that we stand firm, united in spirit, fighting with one accord for the faith of the Good News, not frightened by anything the opposition does. For the Messiah’s sake it has been granted to us not only to trust in him but also to suffer on his behalf to fight the same battles. His spirit is always with us fighting with us. Going before us preparing the way.
