Who is looking out for you? Who is praying for you? You might be surprised to know that Yeshua is praying for you

Think about the people in your life who might be praying for you. Now, imagine that Yeshua our Messiah is one of those people. In John 17, we see that Yeshua is not only thinking about us, but He’s also interceding on our behalf to His Father. What comfort and encouragement this should bring to our hearts! Knowing that Yeshua Himself is praying for us should make a difference in how we face each day.  It should make us feel loved, cherished, and never alone.

The disciples were worried about what was going to happen to them; so they asked Yeshua

When Yeshua’s disciples asked Him anxiously about their fate, He had a comforting and encouraging response for them. Yeshua wanted to reassure His followers who were seeking answers that God was in control and it would all be okay. Trying to worry our way through life never helps us feel better so it is best to leave our anxieties with Him who cares deeply for everyone who calls out to Him. Hope in Him is what keeps us going during hard times and we can trust that God will answer us more than we could ask or imagine. We should never forget who is praying for us and who is on our side when the future looks unclear, Yeshua.

Yeshua told them not to worry because He had been praying for them

Hebrews 4:14-16 tells us that Yeshua is a great high priest who intercedes on our behalf, even in times of uncertainty. We can take peace and comfort in knowing that Yeshua is always praying for us and guiding us with His loving care. When He said to His disciples “do not worry” He spoke from a place of peace and trust; trusting in the power of prayer when things seem impossible. In the midst of any situation, feel secure knowing you have a Savior who is constantly lifting you up in prayer before God. So when we are struggling with uncertainty or feeling overwhelmed, we can trust that Yeshua has already been praying for us. His words truly give peace.

Yeshua had been praying specifically that they would be protected from the evil one

John 17 gives us comfort and hope, as it reveals Yeshua praying specifically that His disciples would be protected from the evil one. He declares that God’s word is truth, and prays for all His followers to become holy in this same truth just as He was sent into the world. In doing so, He acknowledges that He has done much more than offer them up as an example; instead, He has devoted Himself to making them holy in the truth too. What a gift and a blessing!!! This message is one of immense hope for all believers even today, allowing us to face the evil of this world with faith that Yeshua is actively working in us to make ourselves more like Him and He prays for and protects us.

We don’t always know who is looking out for us, but we can be sure that Yeshua is

Yeshua provides us with His never-ending love, grace, and protection no matter what the situation may be. We can always rely on Him because regardless of what the world presents to us, Yeshua will always be present and willing to provide comfort. He is constantly going before us and covering us in the Holy Spirit which serves as both a shield for our protection and a guide for our feet wherever we go. No one can ever take Yeshua from us–He is with us every moment of every day; He never wavers walking closely alongside us through any sort of trial that may creep into our lives. With Yeshua, we can have full confidence that God is looking out for us in all things brought across our path. Whatever we go through He is with us and will use it for His glory and our good.

When we are feeling lost or alone, we must remember that Yeshua is fighting for His followers

When we feel lost, anxious, or fearful, Yeshua reminds us in His Word that He is praying for us too. We can trust His word, which can bring peace to our mental health and bring us through all the dark moments in life. Even when society encourages us to forget the truth and tells us to follow our hearts instead of the Father and His promises, Yeshua can be a light which shows the way. If we turn to Yeshua in faith and trust Him with our worries and doubts, we can find comfort in knowing that He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. Yeshua is the answer for those who feel alone; He does more than just provide tangible solutions – He provides His presence and love by being our prayer warrior during these moments of need. Turn to Yeshua and remember that the whole Bible is perfect truth; there is nothing too hard for Him.

The disciples were feeling worried and scared after Yeshua was arrested. They had every right to be concerned, but Yeshua told them not to worry because He had been praying for them. Not only that, but He had been praying specifically that they would be protected from the evil one. This is a reminder that even though we don’t always know what’s going to happen, we can be sure that Yeshua has a plan for all His followers. When we are feeling lost or alone, we can remember that Yeshua is praying for us too. We need to turn back to the Father, repent, and study the whole Bible from Genesis 1:1 to the last word in Revelation so that we can learn more about God’s plan for our lives.

As for me, throughout my life I have often wondered if anyone particular covered me in prayer. Thinking about parents, or grandparents, you know, someone who really loves me, but still not knowing for certain. I feel like I have been saved from so many mistakes or near misses in my life. Someone had to be praying for me, right? Well, as I was studying my Bible, YHWH showed me the answer to my question. I find that when we ask Him questions, if we study His word, He will show us the answer. He wants to converse with us, but we have to be willing to study His word so that He can talk to us. My questions to Him were:

– Who is praying for me Father?
– Who has prayed for me throughout my life?
– Has or is anyone praying for me now?

Then He directed me to His word and He showed me:
John 17
“I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have been given to me, because they are mine.”

I read that and my heart skipped a beat in excitement. I paused and then I said, It was you!!!
The realization struck me. It was Yeshua! He prayed for me! Then a feeling of complete Shalom peace and love washed over me. I felt love like I had never felt before.

Then He showed me
Romans 8
Similarly, the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we don’t know how to pray the way we should. But the Spirit himself pleads on our behalf with groanings too deep for words; and the one who searches hearts knows exactly what the Spirit is thinking, because his pleadings for God’s people accord with God’s will.

So, who prays for us?

Yeshua! Our Messiah and the Ruach Hakodesh, The Holy Spirit!
They both pray to YHWH on our behalf!
They pray to the Father for you and me.

What a delightful thought!

I invite you to search the Truth yourself.

Test it. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Please go to your Bible and study the entire story. See firsthand what His word says and what He wants to show you. I always check several versions to allow the Spirit to show me the difference and truth. I recommend you do the same.

Enjoy pondering that thought today!

God bless you
