As Jesus was prepared for Passover week to die on the cross for us, let us also prepare for this sacred week to observe what He did for us, in the way that God intended, not man.
Ask yourself, and the Holy Spirit, the following questions? It’s time for you to know the truth; no more lies! He will teach you if you ask Him (Jeremiah 33:3, 1John 2:27).
Why have Christians been taught for generations to celebrate Easter? Why were Christians taught that particular day was the real resurrection day for Jesus who died for salvation of our sins? The Bible says Jesus was in the grave three nights and three days (Matthew 12:40, 27:63); why does the church teach Christians to observe Friday night to Sunday morning on a man-made day called Easter? What could be the reason church leaders didn’t want Christians to worship Jesus’ resurrection during Passover week that is written about in the Bible (Leviticus 23)?
The BIG Question: Ask the Holy Spirit to help you with this one too
If Passover was always about Jesus, then why would Passover be a Jewish Feast?
We know the Jews annually observe the original Passover before leaving Egypt, but once you read this blog, you will understand that Passover was always about Jesus. The first Passover in Egypt was a shadow-type of Jesus’ crucifixion. The Jewish people don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah and Son of God. Technically, followers of Jesus should be observing Passover. This is one of many lies the devil has deceived us with. Ironically, the followers of Jesus have been taught we couldn’t observe Passover because the truth about it was being hidden from us all this time.

Jesus – the Passover sacrifice
According to scripture, Jesus was born into a Jewish family; His entire story is recorded in the Holy Bible, Genesis to Revelation. His time on earth as a human to experience what we experience and die for our sins is recorded in the Second Testament Gospel Books: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. (Three of the four were Jewish scribes for the Bible, Luke was a Gentile). Four different perspectives of the same firsthand truth of Jesus’ ministry on earth; they are not word for word the same, so you should read all four. God intended the four perspectives to teach us something specific; study yourself to see and allow the Holy Spirit to show you.
When Jesus came to die for our sins, He became the Passover sacrifice for us. Prior to Jesus being arrested, a woman anoints Jesus by pouring precious oil over His head (Matthew 26:7). She knew He was who He said He was, the Messiah and Savior for all mankind; The High Priest. Coincidence? It was Biblical to anoint the head of a priest chosen by God, as was done to Aaron according to God’s commands (Exodus 29:7). She was fulfilling scripture and would be honored by Jesus forever for her obedience.
“Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.” Matthew 26:13
God chose this woman to prepare Jesus, The High Priest and Precious Lamb of God, for the ultimate sacrifice, to die for us so that we can be saved from eternity in hell. What an honor for her to be chosen to serve Jesus this way; her obedience to God did not come without persecution though (Matthew 26:8-9). Jesus warned us to expect to be persecuted for following and worshipping Him. Like her, His remnant that wholeheartedly follows Him consider it an honor to be persecuted for loving Him.
Before Jesus ascended into Heaven, He told the disciples that He must go so that His Holy Spirit could come to comfort and teach us (Acts 1:3-11). It is the Holy Spirit that wants you to ask Him the questions above. He wants to reveal the truth to you; ask Him.
It is Written!
God planned everything from beginning to end, it is written in the Holy Bible for us to know the things He reveals to us. He planned all along to send Jesus to die for our sins. When did He decide to send Jesus? From the beginning! IT IS WRITTEN!
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15
There are no coincidences with God! The whole story was written from the beginning before He spoke the first word. Study His Holy Bible for yourself to finally learn God’s truth!
So, since we have learned there are no coincidences with God, it cannot be a coincidence that He created a symbolic Passover day so many years ago when He killed the firstborn of Egypt. It cannot be a coincidence that God instructed His people to put the blood of a spotless lamb over their doors to protect them. It cannot be a coincidence that Jesus is The Spotless Lamb of God, whose shed blood covers us. So, it certainly cannot be a coincidence that Jesus died during God’s Passover Week Feast that was “written” in Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23. God planned it all along. Make sense? Jesus is our Passover Lamb.
God commanded in His Word specifically how all of His followers are to honor the Passover Feast – that has been about Jesus from the beginning of time. There is not a need for a man-made celebration of this event. To willingly choose to worship His resurrection in any other way than how He instructs us in His Word is considered disobedience by God. He prefers obedience over sacrifice (1Samuel 15:22). He doesn’t need you to change His ways to worship him “better.”
It’s also not a coincidence that the devil wants to deceive you and keep you from observing Passover as a child of God. Scripture does not say you have to be a Jew to observe Passover week or any of God’s Feasts. In fact, God’s Word says for all His followers to observe God’s Feasts forever. The devil has deceived God’s people from the beginning. It’s time to know the truth, for those who want to hear it. Many still don’t want to know God’s truth, they want their ears tickled (2Timothy 4:3).
Do you know who named God’s Feasts, Jewish Feasts? Not God, man. Humans who are used by the devil to be his pawns to deceive God’s children.
Now that you know this, question everything you have been taught! Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to His truth. It’s time for you to know! Don’t allow the enemy to lie to you any longer. Don’t allow humans to tell you what the Holy Word of God says; study it for yourself.
Do your own Bible research
God didn’t have me write this blog to answer all your questions. He had me write it to bring these questions to you so that you would ask the Holy Spirit to give you the answers. I am not the authority on this subject, the Holy Spirit is; that’s why Jesus sent Him, to teach us God’s truth. As long as we sit back and allow humans to lead us to their version of truth, we are not headed towards God’s truth, but away from it. It is intentional and by design that the devil has deceived so many and long ago created a new reality of God’s truth: fake truth. It began in the garden.
“But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.” Genesis 3:4
Since that day, the devil has deceived many by creating fake gods, fake Jesus’, fake truth, fake joy, fake holidays, fake everything! He makes counterfeit versions of God and His truths. When you study the whole Holy Bible the Holy Spirit will show you these things. One illusion: He has caused humans to believe they are celebrating Jesus on days that are not written in God’s Holy Bible. The joke has been on us all this time. Do you see?
There is a story about a king in the First Testament of the Holy Bible that was named Jeroboam, who was the first king of Israel after King Solomon passed away. Upon his death, God split the kingdom due to King Solomon’s sins. God made Jeroboam king over eleven tribes, and Rehoboam, son of Solomon, was made king over Judah. It was Jeroboam who, out of fear of losing his kingdom to God (who gave it to him – another lie example from the enemy, copied from Genesis 3:4), the devil was able to entice him to create fake gods and a fake worship of the one true living God to keep the people from returning to Judah to worship the real God.
The majority of the people willingly obeyed him and participated in the fake worship. It has never stopped to this day. You will find that it either looks like flat-out clearly devil worship, or there is the false teachings in many of the churches that worship the fake Jesus. Satan prowls night and day looking for those to deceive and destroy (1Peter 5:8). He can dress up his evil and deceive you that you are worshipping the real Jesus, or he will try to convince you to worship him and will promise you the world. He tried the same thing with Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4).
Separating the wheat from the tares
There is a remnant that God has saved from every tribe and generation but the masses still buy into the fake worship and fake truth. In the past decade, God has been shaking things up; more so since 2020 – separating the wheat from the tares (Matthew 13:24-30); separating His people from the ones who choose not to follow Him wholeheartedly. God has been leading His remnant, His chosen set-apart ones towards His truth. He has been revealing many things to them that they were never taught by man in church buildings. You can tell who His remnant ones are by their fruits (Galatians 5:22-23). Many of these in His remnant have been set-apart to warn the lost and lead them to salvation.
It’s not a coincidence that evil is rampant in the world in 2024 and that the devil no longer hides his works, he’s running out of time to destroy as many lives as he can before Jesus sounds His trumpet.
Jesus warned us that satan would ramp up his tricks and deception in the last days and the way to know the final season before His return He compared the end to birthing pains (Matthew 24). We are in the birthing pains; the baby is in the birthing canal waiting and ready to go.
Prepare for what’s to come
While we wait for Jesus, make sure your heart is right with Him. Then warn others. This Passover Week and Spring Feast season of God’s Feasts for all His followers is very special this year, 2024. You might want to consider learning more about it and seeing what blessings He has for you for observing them. These Feasts are gifts from God for His children. All who follow Him wholeheartedly are His children.

In closing, let’s make sure your heart is right with the Lord so that you can enjoy getting to know Him and what He has for you. Don’t complicate the process for salvation. Keep it simple. Whether you have prayed this before, rededicate your life today and go “all in” with Him. It’s time for a deeper relationship with your Creator, Adonai.

- B: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins and rose from the dead for you. (John 3:16-18, 1Corinthians 15:1-4)
- C: Call on Jesus and repent of your sins and turn back to Him and ask Jesus to show you the way. (Romans 10:9-13, John 14:6)
