Did I say for ever?
I meant FOR EVER! ~ God
(Note: In the King James Version of the English Holy Bible,
“forever” is often spelled: for ever.)
For ever for all generations from now and forever. Numbers 15:15, 23
Did you know there are 1006 occurrences of “for ever” in the King James Bible. There are 99 occurrences of “for generations,” and 87 occurrences of “all generations.” Not one of these verses where God is telling us to do things forever, did He say: “for ever until.” You will not find a scripture that mentions or eludes to God’s commands ending when Jesus shows up on the scene in the New Testament in the Book of Matthew, nor ending when Jesus dies on the cross. A study of all scripture debunks the myth that God’s law were nailed to the cross; God says they are forever!
In scripture, for ever and forever are synonymous. Did you know that God doesn’t change His mind (Malachi 3:6)? He has every detail planned out from the beginning to the end to the beginning. It’s written in His Word. He doesn’t change His mind; His plan is already perfect. When Jesus was in ministry for those three years, He only spoke what His Father spoke. He made things easier to understand but He taught from the Old Testament books; the New Testament didn’t exist. When you study the whole Bible, you can find the scriptures Jesus taught during His ministry. He says He didn’t come to abolish God’s law.
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law!
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew. 5:17-20
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it hundreds of times since God called me to start this ministry in 2019; reading the entire Holy Bible, the whole story, cover to cover, will transform your life and you will experience indescribable hope, love, peace, and joy that can only come from a relationship with Adonai our God, our Creator that breathed life in us; and through a personal relationship with Jesus after inviting Him into your heart to heal you and you to choose to follow His ways. He then gives you His Holy Spirit to teach you. (John 14:16,26, 15:26, 16:7, 1John 2:27, Jeremiah 33:3) I love how Jesus comforts us when He repeats Himself about sending His Holy Spirit to be with us.
Remember what I’ve said before? When does God repeat Himself? When it’s important! So let that be a sign to you that having the Holy Spirit teach you is vitally important to your relationship with Jesus and God our Father, that’s why He kept telling us about the Holy Spirit. Since He repeated His truths for us in His Word, then so shall I. It is my mission to serve God in how He chose to use me; that mission is to lead you back to His Word, His entire Holy Bible to learn all truth He has for you. In doing so, you will find a loving God waiting to spend time with you and teach you all He has just for you. Then, He wants you to share what He has taught you.
Pray today and ask Him to take you deeper and show you more. He will.
Now, as you turn back to Him and go deeper into relationship with Him, you learn that obedience is key to a healthy relationship with our Creator. In this blog we will touch on what God designed and commanded for us to do FOREVER! And, by “us” I mean, “ALL God’s followers” before Jesus’ time on earth and after. God’s commands apply to all of His followers FOREVER! When Jesus died on the cross for us, the veil was torn that separated us from God, and that separated Jews from Gentiles. All can come to Jesus for salvation; all God’s followers should follow His commands wholeheartedly.
To clarify, there are commands from God in the Torah that were for the Levitical priests only. Obviously, unless you are a Levite by heritage and there is a temple, you can omit those. Otherwise, learn His commands for you and follow them. You will be blessed through your wholehearted obedience. Those who willfully disobey, there will be consequences.
Study God’s entire Word, the whole Holy Bible to get His truths firsthand. Don’t rely on me or anyone else to tell you what the Bible says. Test everything, (1Thessalonians 5:21). Study for yourself. This blog is to give you key points to go research with the Holy Spirit to teach you all things. (Jeremiah 33:3)
You ask who am I? – FOREVER
When God called Moses from the burning bush in the wilderness on the mountain top, Moses first saw the bush and stopped and turned to see what this bush was the burned and wasn’t consumed. This is where he first met God our Creator.
God has a conversation with Moses and then tells him that He is sending him to deliver His people out of Egypt. Moses was stunned and horrified to be given such a great task; he felt unqualified and he didn’t want to go back to Egypt. One of the questions he asks God is, why would they listen to me? Who do I tell them sent me?
“And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? What shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.” Exodus 3:13-15
How long did God say this was His name and a memorial for who? For ever and to be a memorial unto all generations.
FOREVER!
God’s Feasts – FOREVER!
Followers of God have been erroneously taught that God’s appointed feasts are Jewish feasts and only for the Jewish people. According to scripture that God breathed for us, God’s commands are for all His followers forever. When you study the whole Bible firsthand, you will learn this truth. You can find a full breakdown of each feast in Leviticus 23. God created Feasts that have very specific meaning and purpose; He did not create holidays that the world has been taught through tradition to worship rather than being taught to observe His Feasts.
The “age-old” question: Who’s Feasts are they?
“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” Leviticus 23:1-2
Asked and answered: They are NOT Jewish feasts. God says they are “my feasts.” He knew there would be confusion so He put it in His Word. The enemy doesn’t wanting you reading the entire Bible because he doesn’t want you to know God’s truth.
Now that you realize that, are you curious what else is hiding in plain sight in the whole story of the Holy Word of God, the Holy Bible? Enjoy that treasure hunt with the Holy Spirit. It will be the most valuable treasure hunt you will ever go on.
The following feasts are appointed times by God for all His followers to observe. You can go study the whole story yourself and let Him show you more things; I’m just trying to make a point in showing you that He said, “forever” for ALL His followers.
Feasts for you to research in Leviticus 23:
- *Shabbat/Sabbath – weekly
- *Passover – yearly
- Unleavened bread – yearly
- Firstfruits – yearly
- *Feast of Weeks/Shavout – yearly
- Feast of Trumpets – yearly
- Day of Atonement – yearly
- *Feast of Booths/Tabernacles/Sukkot – yearly
Non-feasts:
- Purim – yearly
- Hanukkah – yearly
These two celebrations are not commanded feasts. They are special times to commemorate miracles God performed for His people.
God’s appointed feasts for all His children are to be observed forever. He appointed these feasts for us to observe forever and mentioned them repeatedly. Why did He mention them repeatedly? Because they are important!
When they ask why? FOREVER
God always has an answer; just ask. There are answers to all your questions in the Holy Bible. He has prepared the answer before you ask, like He did here. As an example, when your children ask why we celebrate Passover read this scripture.
“And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? That ye shall say, it is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.” Exodus 12:26-27
God has a plan and answer for everything. He is a God of order, and plans every tiny minuscule detail. Trust His process; it’s perfect. Always go to His Holy Bible for all your questions; He has an answer waiting for you.
How long will He reign? FOREVER
Is your god dead or alive? There has only ever been one living God. That is Adonai our God, our Creator that breathed life into us. He has a plan for us from beginning to end. How long will He reign? He knew we would ask so He supplied the answer for us in His Word.
“The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.” Exodus 15:18
Questions? What a comfort to know that we can put our trust in Adonai our God, our God who is alive and will reign FOREVER!
The land is theirs – FOREVER!
Don’t shoot the messenger; study His Word to test this truth (1Thessalonians 5:21). I’m simply sharing scripture. Even though the rebellious ones continue to sin and disobey God, He has a plan to save His chosen obedient ones. Those who obey will be blessed, those who disobey will be cursed (Deuteronomy 28). But, regardless of their actions, the land is theirs forever according to God our Father who gave it to them. God gave the land to the Israelites but it ultimately still belongs to God. No one can take it away.
“And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.” Exodus 32:9-13
“The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.” Leviticus 25:23
The land is not for sale, or for ransom. The land belongs to Israel FOREVER!
Who are God’s commands for? FOREVER
“All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD. And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.” Numbers 15:13-16
He clears up any question before it’s asked; all His followers.
How long must we follow God’s commands? FOREVER
“Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.” Deuteronomy 4:40
“The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.” Psalms 111:7-10
FOREVER
If only we would obey… FOREVER
God says,
“O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!” Deuteronomy 5:29
“Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.” Deuteronomy 12:28
What you won’t find anywhere in the Holy Bible that God breathed, is that we only need to follow His commands until Jesus dies on the cross. God does not say do this until Jesus comes, or dies. He was very clear: FOREVER!
Curses for disobedience to God – FOREVER
God says,
“Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.” Deuteronomy 28:45-48
“God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.” Psalms 52:5
The revelations belong to us – FOREVER
“The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29
He is Lord – FOREVER
“For the LORD shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left. And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted, Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.” Deuteronomy 32:36-40
“But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.” Psalms 9:7
“The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.” Psalms 10:16
“The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.” Psalms 19:9
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” Psalms 23:6
“Adonai sits enthroned above the flood! Adonai sits enthroned as king forever!” Psalms 29:10
His Steadfast Love Endures FOREVER
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.” Psalms 118:1
“Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.” Psalms 135:13
“Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.” Micah 7:18
He surrounds His followers – FOREVER
“They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.” Psalms 125:1-2
How long will His kingdom last? FOREVER
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” Daniel 2:44
“These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.” Daniel 7:17-18
“But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.” Joel 3:20
How to pray – FOREVER!
Jesus says, pray like this:
“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Matthew 6:9-13
Jesus says what His Father says: FOREVER
Jesus repeats the truths our Heavenly Father spoke:
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:51
“This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.” John 6:58
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever” John 14:15-16
The commandments Jesus speaks of are His Fathers commandments. Not man-made law, God’s laws.
We will worship Him Forever and ever Amen.
“And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice,
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:11-13
It is finished – FOREVER
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:10
God said it, it shall be done.
Living with the River of Life – FOREVER
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 22:1-5
Jesus Is Coming Soon
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:12-14
Are you ready for Jesus’ return? Not sure? Just follow the steps below. Don’t complicate the process for salvation. Keep it simple.
Do the ABC’s and repent today.
- A: Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)
- B: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins and rose from the dead for you. (John 3:16-18, 1Corinthians 15:1-4)
- C: Call on Jesus and repent of your sins and turn back to Him and ask Jesus to show you the way. (Romans 10:9-13, John 14:6)
May God bless you and keep you.
