What do you do when you realize Jesus didn’t take you with the rest?
When Jesus has sounded His trumpet
and His wholehearted followers are gone away from this earth,
what do you do at that point to avoid spending eternity in hell?
Is there still hope?
What should you do?
Wait for the God of Salvation
Let me share a story with you from the perspective of someone who God showed what it will look like for those that are left behind. He laments what God showed him as he warns others of what the world will look like post rapture, and then encourages them to wait on the salvation of the Lord no matter what happens.
SPOILER ALERT! – Repent and stand on your faith til the bitter end!
What it will be like after – The Lament warning
“How miserable I am! I feel like the fruit picker after the harvest who can find nothing to eat. Not a cluster of grapes or a single early fig can be found to satisfy my hunger.
The godly people have all disappeared; not one honest person is left on the earth. They are all murderers, setting traps even for their own brothers.
Both their hands are equally skilled at doing evil! Officials and judges alike demand bribes. The people with influence get what they want, and together they scheme to twist justice.
Even the best of them is like a brier; the most honest is as dangerous as a hedge of thorns. But your judgment day is coming swiftly now. Your time of punishment is here, a time of confusion.
Don’t trust anyone—not your best friend or even your wife!
For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter-in-law defies her mother-in-law. Your enemies are right in your own household!”
Hold on to hope
“As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.
Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.
I will be patient as the LORD punishes me, for I have sinned against him. But after that, he will take up my case and give me justice for all I have suffered from my enemies. The LORD will bring me into the light, and I will see his righteousness.
Then my enemies will see that the LORD is on my side. They will be ashamed that they taunted me, saying, “So where is the LORD—that God of yours?” With my own eyes I will see their downfall; they will be trampled like mud in the streets.”
And then…
“In that day, Israel, your cities will be rebuilt, and your borders will be extended.
People from many lands will come and honor you—from Assyria all the way to the towns of Egypt, from Egypt all the way to the Euphrates River, and from distant seas and mountains.
But the land will become empty and desolate because of the wickedness of those who live there.”
God comforts those who choose Him
“O LORD, protect your people with your shepherd’s staff; lead your flock, your special possession. Though they live alone in a thicket on the heights of Mount Carmel, let them graze in the fertile pastures of Bashan and Gilead as they did long ago.
“Yes,” says the LORD, “I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt.”
All the nations of the world will stand amazed at what the LORD will do for you. They will be embarrassed at their feeble power. They will cover their mouths in silent awe, deaf to everything around them.
Like snakes crawling from their holes, they will come out to meet the LORD our God. They will fear him greatly, trembling in terror at his presence.”
God’s Steadfast Love and Compassion
“Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.
Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!
You will show us your faithfulness and unfailing love as you promised to our ancestors Abraham and Jacob long ago.”
The author of this story
This story was a lament that God’s Prophet, Micah (Micah chapter 7) warned us about as he shared what God showed him it would look like after Jesus calls His Bride up to meet Him in the air (Micah 7:2), the rapture.
Take hope in knowing that scripture says numerous places that there will be a remnant of people that God will take during the tribulation. Those will be the ones who choose to cling to God and not take the mark of the beast. They will endure horrific circumstances as they resist the enemy’s threats, manipulation and intimidation while fighting for their life. This is part of their consequences for rebelling against Him. As a result, for those who refuse to let go of God during this time, scripture says they will suffer a horrible death; beheading (Revelation 20:4). That’s a tough way to get into Heaven, when currently (before the Trumpet sounds) all you have to do is give your heart to Jesus and follow Him wholeheartedly.
The good news here is that, if you have been left behind, your Creator, the God of mercy, is giving you one last chance to choose Him. This is it! No more chances after this! And it’s going to be a horrific path to reach Jesus, but in order to get to Heaven, you must decide to cling to Him and stand on your faith til the death. It’s your only way to avoid burning in hell for eternity.

You have choices. You may not like your choices, but you have them.
READ AND CHOOSE TODAY!
- Choose Jesus now, follow Him wholeheartedly and spend eternity in His presence.
- Choose Jesus after the rapture of the Bride, refuse the mark of the beast, suffer a horrible death for your faith, BUT quick death means immediately with Jesus.
- Take the mark of the beast out of fear, manipulation, and intimidation, and burn in hell for eternity.

In closing,
let’s make sure your heart is right with the Lord so that you can ensure your eternity and begin enjoying the peace He gives to those that are His.
Don’t complicate the process for salvation. Keep it simple. Whether you have prayed this before, rededicate your life today and go “all in” with Him. It’s time for a deeper relationship with your Creator, Adonai.
Do the ABC’s and repent today.
- A: Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)
- B: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins and rose from the dead for you. (John 3:16-18, 1Corinthians 15:1-4)
- C: Call on Jesus and repent of your sins and turn back to Him and ask Jesus to show you the way. (Romans 10:9-13, John 14:6)
