Dear Daisy,
Have you noticed how the world has drastically changed since the 2024 US elections? I am amazed at how one side is mourning their loss and taking drastic measures to display their anger and rage at their disappointment. While the other side is laser focused on placing all their hope in the winner and his team and how they are going to make America great again. Never have I seen the name of Jesus abused and blasphemed by both sides like it is now. So many people are suddenly popping up on social media twisting the truth of scripture to deceive the vulnerable. How can this be? Please help me understand why people cannot see what’s going on here? Signed ~ How can people be so blind to the truth of God?
Dear how can people be so blind to the truth?
I totally understand your concern about watching lost souls be deceived into destroying their lives and the lives of others, while also observing people place their hope in humans instead of Jesus. Indeed, it is like we are living in a movie and finding it surreal to watch this story play out. For true wholehearted followers of Jesus, it is hard to understand how one can see the truth and another can’t. This is a great example of where “free will” comes in; God gives us a choice: follow Him, or not. Choose to focus on things of this world, or focus on eternal things that God and Jesus have prepared for His wholehearted followers? Scripture says that those who chose to reject God and our savior Jesus have become blinded to the truth. There are many who call themselves Christians that have fallen into the trap of placing all their hope in world leadership. It’s very sad to watch.
There is a remnant, as prophesied in the Holy Bible, that choose to wholeheartedly follow Jesus; they are staying in His Holy Word and He is showing them truth. That’s why it is imperative to study the whole Holy Bible. Only those who have a personal relationship with Jesus and know God’s Word well can understand that He warned us these things would happen. They are the ones that won’t be fooled by the enemies lies and schemes; they are the ones that can “see.”
God warned us in His Word what the last days would look like so that when these things happened we would know what season we are in; the last days before Jesus calls up His Bride to meet Him in the air. He also warned His followers of what is to come so that when we saw them happening we would know that it’s Him doing these things and that we who have our hope in Him can sustain His indescribable peace in the midst of the storms and chaos.
Those who can’t see what God is doing are the ones who are deceived because they chose not to believe God. When He knocked on the door of their heart, they said, no thanks. Therefore He blinded them to the truth and gave them over to reprobate minds. That’s why they can’t see that what they are doing is not of God and is in fact, taking them further away from Him and all He wants to offer them. They are searching for hope, peace, and love in this wicked world, but refuse to accept it from Jesus and their Creator, Adonai our living God.
For the past four years people were saying that “normal isn’t coming back, Jesus is.” Post US elections, that script has flipped. People are now saying, Jesus isn’t coming back, normal is. They truly believe that the new leader of the US and his team will make American great again. This updated belief is not based on scripture but on fleshly desires. Beware of the deception that is running rampant.
Let’s find scripture to help you better understand and give you places to research and study more with the help of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to show you His truth in this blog and as you study the scriptures with Him. Once you know these truths, you can better share them with others.
God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness
Here, God gives Paul truth to share with us that breaks it down clearly for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. This is part of Romans chapter 1.
“God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them.
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.
That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.” Romans 1:18-32
Pause, take a breath, and let that sink in. Consider reading it again so that the Holy Spirit can speak to your spirit about this subject. This information is quite sobering and helps us understand how and why this world has become so corrupt. The world is not falling apart, it’s aligning with prophetic scripture that all these things would happen in the last days.
Ignoring God.
How can they not see? One of the most asked questions by followers of Jesus about those who can’t see God’s truth. Let’s allow God-breathed scripture to answer that question for us.
Here are some more verses for you to pray and think on as the Holy Spirit speaks truth to you.
“14 And yet they say to God,
‘Go away. We want no part of you and your ways.
15 Who is the Almighty, and why should we obey him?
What good will it do us to pray?”

“Satan, who is the god of this world,

to fool those on their way to destruction,
because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.
11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived,
and they will believe these lies.
12 Then they will be condemned
for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.”
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

but they deny him by the way they live.

that God made the heavens long ago
by the word of his command,
and he brought the earth out from the water
and surrounded it with water.”
2 Peter 3:5
Beware of the wolves in sheep’s clothing
We are warned repeatedly throughout scripture to watch out for false teachers and false prophets. Why? Because God wanted us to be alert and recognize them immediately when we see them. How is it possible to recognize the false ones? You MUST know God’s Holy Word. If you don’t study His word from cover to cover, you won’t know what He tells us to look for. When you know His truths, you can instantly recognize the deceitful ones. In addition to knowing His Holy Word well, pray for discernment. When you get that uneasy feeling, the hairs standing up on your neck, or an inner voice telling you to stop, don’t do it, don’t believe, or run, that is the Holy Spirit telling you this is NOT Him. He is warning you to stop, turn, do not proceed. To proceed when He is giving you signs not to, is to proceed at your own peril; this disobedience always comes with consequences.
“For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up
and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive,
if possible, even God’s chosen ones.”
Matthew 24:24
Pray this doesn’t happen to you. If you have a close personal relationship with Jesus, and you study His Holy Word, He will give you wisdom and discernment so as not to be deceived by these deceitful ones that are trying to lead you astray. Remember, the enemy can disguise himself as a “false” light to deceive you. He can make something look so good to you, that you can easily believe in your mind that it must be from God; but it’s NOT! Learn the scripture which will teach you how to hear God’s voice, then when these moments pop up, you can discern them. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to learn to not make a move without praying and waiting for Him to lead you. Once you learn to wait on the Lord, the enemy will have a very difficult time deceiving you.
“These people are false apostles.
They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves
as apostles of Christ.
But I am not surprised!
Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
So it is no wonder that his servants
also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.
In the end
they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.“
2Corinthians 11:13-5
Currently, we are seeing these deceitful ones popping up everywhere. What is disturbing is that there are so many that look like good people who are speaking with amazing confidence so it causes people to believe them. Sadly, these ones are mixing God’s scripture with lies. They either quote pieces of exact scripture and then add lies to it, or they allude to familiar scripture and add their lies. What is really sickening is to hear them use the name of Jesus and His Hebrew name, Yeshua, in the midst of their lies.
A recent experience for me that I noticed on social media; 1, a guy was speaking with confidence using scripture pieces and the name of Jesus and Yeshua to make him seem legit, then he weaved in lies. Because I know God’s word and I always pray for discernment, I knew immediately this was not of Jesus. He was sprinkling in “new age” jargon, like: ‘christ consciousness.’ This is a huge buzz word in the “new age” movement, look it up. 2, there was a guy reading “scripture” and then “interpreting” it. His interpretation was opposite of the truth of the Word of God. You wouldn’t know it wasn’t true because he spoke with such confidence, unless you know God’s Word. We CANNOT rely on people to tell us what the Word of God says, we must study it for ourselves and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us all truth.
Jesus warned us that there would be great deception in the last days, and boy has it ramped up quickly this year, and since the US elections. You MUST be alert! You MUST know scripture so that you won’t be deceived. There is NO book ever printed that is more important for you to read than the Holy Bible, King James Version (KJV). Why that version? Because it is proven without a doubt that it is the inerrant word of God that He breathed for us to know and live by. All other versions have been rewritten by man. When you compare other versions to the KJV, you will find many scriptures that are reworded to change the meaning, and you will surprisingly find missing scriptures; the ones “they” don’t want us to know.
Not so sure about that? Check out this guys Youtube page that makes it easy for you to see this truth. @TruthisChrist page.
Here are some scriptures for you:
“1 Suppose there are prophets among you
or those who dream dreams about the future,
and they promise you signs or miracles,
2 and the predicted signs or miracles occur.
If they then say,
‘Come, let us worship other gods’—gods you have not known before—
3 do not listen to them.
The LORD your God is testing you
to see if you truly love him with all your heart and soul.”
Deuteronomy 13:1-3
“You have discouraged the righteous with your lies,
but I didn’t want them to be sad.
And you have encouraged the wicked by promising them life,
even though they continue in their sins.”
Ezekiel 13:22
“Beware of false prophets,
which come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
Matthew 7:15
“4 Jesus told them,
“Don’t let anyone mislead you,
5 for many will come in my name,
claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’
They will deceive many.”
Matthew 24:4-5
“And many false prophets will appear
and will deceive many people.”
Matthew 24:11
“24 For false messiahs and false prophets
will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive,
if possible, even God’s chosen ones.
25 See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.”
Matthew 24:24-25
“Don’t let anyone capture you
with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense
that come from human thinking
and from the spiritual powers of this world,
rather than from Christ.”
Colossians 2:8
“Dear friends,
do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit.
You must test them
to see if the spirit they have comes from God.
For there are many false prophets in the world.”
1 John 4:1
“You already know these things, dear friends.
So be on guard;
then you will not be carried away
by the errors of these wicked people
and lose your own secure footing.” (Salvation)
2 Peter 3:17
What do you do when you hear anyone tell you what “Jesus said”? Scripture says:
“Do not scoff at prophecies,
but test everything that is said.
Hold on to what is good.”
1 Thessalonians 5:20-21
Let the Holy Spirit do His job
Hopefully these scriptures helped you get a better understanding of how people can literally believe the lies and not see God’s truth. They rejected Jesus and our Creator, and chose to be blind to His truth. Knowing this will help you better navigate around those who don’t want to believe. Pray for them, give them grace, and most importantly, don’t engage in a debate. Remember they are blinded to truth, so you cannot open their eyes to it, only the Holy Spirit has that power.
Allow the Holy Spirit to do His job.
As you continue to observe the downward spiral of this world and the lost souls, consider praying daily this prayer that Jesus told us to pray:
“After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever.
Amen.”
Matthew 6:9-13
This prayer was specifically designed for us to pray and covers all things. We don’t need to tell God what He already knows. Trust Jesus. Trust this prayer to be enough.
This prayer is very powerful and the Holy Spirit needs us all praying it.
Heart check time
Jesus is coming back soon to get His Bride. Let’s make sure your heart is right with Him. Don’t complicate the process for salvation. Keep it simple. Even if you have prayed this before, rededicate your life today and go “all in” with Him. It’s time for a deeper relationship with your Creator, Adonai.
Do the ABC’s and repent today.
- A: Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)
- B: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins and rose from the dead for you. (John 3:16-18, 1Corinthians 15:1-4)
- C: Call on Jesus and repent of your sins and turn back to Him and ask Jesus to show you the way. (Romans 10:9-13, John 14:6)
In closing,
Always ask Jesus what you should do in every situation. The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you. If it’s not okay with Him, He will check your spirit and you will have an uneasy feeling and doubt about going forward. Always follow Jesus; NOT your heart; our hearts are fickle and can’t be trusted. Listen to the Holy Spirit; He is trying to protect you. You have a choice to obey or ignore. Choose to obey and stay under His protection.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick;
who can understand it?”
Jeremiah 17:9
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.“
Proverbs 3:5
“When you know you grow!”
Take note:
“I am not your teacher, the Holy Spirit is.
I’m just the messenger leading you back to Jesus and His truth.”
