Dear Daisy,
I’m really anxious and concerned about what I see in this world today. Famous people worshipping stones and animals, pictures posted of some strange witch looking woman the famous all seem drawn to, people bragging about selling their soul to the devil for success, concerts and public events now having demonic themes and crowds of people are flocking to them like never before, the strange obsession to yoga and meditation that I’m told is actually a practice of demon worship disguised as healing exercise, people worshipping the earth, sun, moon, and stars, the churches now seem to be focused on entertaining and prosperity while hiding moral failures, the riots and civil unrest, just to name a few. What is happening here? It’s like this world is on a runaway train of chaos about to crash and explode! ~ Signed, is there any hope for this wicked world?
Dear is there any hope for this wicked world,
So glad you reached out. What you are seeing going on in this world is exactly what Jesus told us would happen in His Holy Bible. He spoke of these things during His ministry on earth. He said, that in the last days, before He calls His Bride home, these very things would take place (Matthew 24, Luke 21, 2Timothy 3). He told us this ahead of time so that when they happened we would know that the last days are near, in fact, they are now here. When you study those referenced scriptures above, you will clearly see that we are in the season of the last days that Jesus spoke about.
What we are witnessing in this current state of the world is worse than the days of Noah before the flood, and the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. Sin was so rampant back then that God first flooded the earth to wipe out evil to begin again with a righteous man and his family; but the sin nature was still present because of the devil. Then years later, God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because they were full of wickedness and evil. God promised not to flood the earth again, but used these cities He destroyed to send a message of His power and His promises. As a warning of these past times, He forewarns us of the final judgment that is to come that will be much worse.
God tells us, then later Jesus, during His ministry on earth, tells us again what God said about judging sin. He planned this from the beginning and told us what would happen, giving us plenty of time to turn from our wicked ways before judgment comes. When Jesus tells us what to look for to know that we are in the very last days, He describes the world looking exactly like it looks today!
Let’s go find more scriptures for you to research and study so the Holy Spirit can answer your questions.
FYI: I am not your teacher, the Holy Spirit is. My job is to lead you back to Him and to His truth, His Holy Word, the Holy Bible.
The end from the beginning
Scripture tells us that God breathed the entire Holy Bible for our teaching (2Timothy 3:16-17); He wrote about the very end of time from the beginning of time (Isaiah 46:10); God’s plan for this earth was written with an ending to the story. Part of the thorough detailed teaching He breathed for us was intended for preparing God’s children to be ready for Jesus’ return. God loves all of His children, but has stated throughout scripture that only a remnant of the people would follow Him wholeheartedly and spend eternity with Him. He also tells us exactly what those who willingly choose not to follow Him will do, and what the consequences for their disobedience will be.
Did you know that our Creator wrote His commands on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33-34) so that no matter what nation or country you live in, you would have His truth with you? That is so every human has a chance to choose Him. Did you know that there are other third world countries that love and worship Jesus? It’s true.
While God gave us shepherds to lead us, He also warned us in His Word that there would be many wicked shepherds, false teachers and false preachers that would try to lead us away from Him. It’s hard to imagine that someone behind a pulpit in a church building could be evil; but there are many. In 2024 alone, we have witnessed not only a continual fall of pastors in churches as their evil has been exposed, we also have witnessed religions changing doctrines and inviting sin into their church with openly sinful leaders taking charge. If you are studying your whole Holy Bible, you know that God warned us this would happen.
That’s why it’s imperative that you study the entire Holy Bible so that you know the things that God warns us to be aware of in this world. Our Creator, YHWH God, sent His only Son, Jesus our Savior and Messiah, to teach us, and to die for our sins giving us the opportunity to be reunited with our Creator. Then Jesus told His disciples that once He ascended into Heaven after His resurrection from dying on the cross, that He would send His Comforter, the Holy Spirit, to teach us and be with us. The Holy Spirit is the only one we can trust to teach us God’s truth (1 John 2:27, Jeremiah 33:3, Luke 24:45).
Worshipping the idols
From the time the Israelites were delivered by God out of slavery in Egypt, they complained about everything in spite of His continual show of love and miracles. On the 9th of AV, Tisha B’Av, the day that God was going to make a covenant (a marriage promise) with His people with the Ten Commands on the stone tablets He gave Moses, His people chose instead to create and serve their own god, a golden calf. What was meant to be a beautiful day of love and a blessed union between God and His people, it became a day of death and broken promises.
(NOTE: The 9th of AV became a day of great judgment for Israel thereafter. Notable judgment events by God on that day: a year after the golden calf disaster, the spies God sent out returned with an evil report about the Promised Land thereby causing them to have to wander in the desert for 40 years, the 1st and the 2nd temples were destroyed on that day; that’s just to name a few. Research shows continual judgment events on that day since then. As it turns out, this blog is posting during the month of AV 2024. Wonder what big event will happen this year?)
Before God calls Moses up to the top of the mountain to give him the commands on the stone tablets, He has Moses tell the people this one particular thing:
“Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.”
Exodus 20:23
God warned them not to do it before they did it. He knew all along they were going to disobey this command that He would later write on the stone tablets for Moses on the mountain. So He tells them ahead of time not to do it. Why?
1. He was making a point that He already knew what they were going to do.
2. He already had a plan for their disobedience.
Just like He knew beforehand when He told Adam not to eat the forbidden fruit, that Eve would be deceived by the serpent. He already had a plan for their disobedience. God already knows, sees, and has a plan for everything. There is nothing new under the sun; He wrote the ending at the beginning (Ecclesiastes 3:1, Isaiah 46:10). You can’t surprise God! You can’t change His plan! He isn’t human that He will change His mind (Malachi 3:6) The plan is already written with an ending!
Moses had been called up to the top of the mountain to speak with God a number of times before He actually gave him the stone tablets. It was planned by God all along, the specific appointed day and time that this event would take place. It would truly be a “day to remember,” and would be marked as a day of judgment rather than a day for a beautiful covenant. While Moses, who feared and respected God, anticipated this to be a memorable day – understanding the gravity of what he was encountering as he watched God write on the stone tablets with a finger of fire; he had no idea what God actually had planned. Moses was ready to deliver the covenant promises for God not knowing that many of the people had turned against God while he was away alone with God on the mountain top. The marriage day became known as the day of the great sin, the day of the golden calf worship (Exodus 32). God tried to put the fear of His power in the people to test them to trust Him, but most ignored Him and were determined to create their own gods. That practice has never stopped. God gives us a choice to chose Him over other idols, but the stubborn stiff-necked ones refuse to learn and turn.
In the book of Jeremiah, one of God’s prophets, God invites them to return to Him again and again but they refuse and are exiled to Babylon. Out of His love for them, even in exile, He still tells them how He will bless them if they will repent and return to Him (Jeremiah 3).
He tells of how they were determined to worship idols, then thought they had no choice but to continue.
“25 Withhold thy foot from being unshod,
and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst,
There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers,
and after them will I go.
26 As the thief is ashamed when he is found,
so is the house of Israel ashamed; they,
their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,
27 Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone,
Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me,
and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say,
Arise, and save us.”
Jeremiah 2:25-27
See how that only when things got tough did they cry out to the Lord? It was then that He said, where are your gods now, cry out to them for help. This was part of His discipline but also an opportunity for them to see their folly and repent and turn back to Him. Some did, but most continued to serve their dead idol gods. This practice has never stopped. God knows this and already has a plan for judgment.
We can’t hide from God
How could God’s children hate Him so much? How could they have forgotten all He has done for them? When you study the whole Holy Bible through the heart of God, it will literally break your heart for what has broken His. He knew His people would turn from Him but it still hurts His heart because He loves us so. In spite of our rebellious nature, He still has made a way for us to return to Him.
When I say, study “through the heart of God,” I’m referring to how our view is so different than God’s view. We can’t see what He sees with our naked eye. If you ask the Holy Spirit to help you see the truth, He will show you through His view what He wants you to see (1Samuel 16:7). Pray and ask Him to show you what He sees.
God sees all and knows all; there is nothing we can hide from Him. All the wickedness in this world is not hidden from Him and there will be consequences for those who choose the world over Him. It is a delusion from the enemy that he tells people that God has forsaken them and does not care or see the evil they are doing. These are but a few of many scriptures to support this:
“For mine eyes are upon all their ways:
they are not hid from my face,
neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.”
Jeremiah 16:17
“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?
saith the LORD.
Do not I fill heaven and earth?
saith the LORD.”
Jeremiah 23:24
“Then said he unto me, Son of man,
hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark,
every man in the chambers of his imagery?
for they say,
The LORD seeth us not;
the LORD hath forsaken the earth.”
Ezekiel 8:12
Evidence of strong delusions from the enemy that the people chose to believe. God does see all and will discipline the wicked accordingly.
“11 And the LORD said unto Moses,
How long will this people provoke me?
and how long will it be ere they believe me,
for all the signs which I have shewed among them?”
Numbers 14:11
“12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron,
Because ye believed me not,
to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel,
therefore ye shall not bring this congregation
into the land which I have given them.”
Numbers 20:12
God disciplines those He loves even though He forgives them. Observe that Moses and Aaron, God’s chosen ones, had to pay for their sins; they were forgiven but they didn’t get to enter into the Promised Land. It would be a good idea to take time to study Psalms 106 as well, as it is a short recounting of the blessings and the curses showing how the people forgot their Savior and all He had done for them.
“21 They forgat God their saviour,
which had done great things in Egypt”
Psalms 106:21
“24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land,
they believed not his word”
Psalms 106:24
“24 I said therefore unto you,
that ye shall die in your sins:
for if ye believe not that I am he,
ye shall die in your sins.”
John 8:24
“8 But the fearful, and unbelieving,
and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers,
and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:8
These lost ones are not hiding their sinful life from God. Judgment is coming and they don’t believe it. God clearly states in His Word what will happen to them, but they are deceived from His truth. There is little time left for them to repent, that window of repentance is about to close and there will be extreme punishment awaiting them. It’s up to us to make sure they know this truth while there is still time (Ezekiel 2 & 3). Believe God’s Truth. Share His Truth! Time is running out quickly!
“Behold, I come quickly:
blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
Revelation 22:7
The Blessings and the curses
Did you know that God breathed out in detail, what we should and shouldn’t do, thereby defining what is good and what is evil? He did this as a gift to us so that we would have a clear understanding of what we need to do to follow Him wholeheartedly so that we can walk in His peace and hope throughout our lives while living in this broken world. He instructed us to pass these truths down from generation to generation. Sadly, only a remnant obeyed. That’s why this world is so lost today.
Again, this is not a surprise to God that only a remnant obeyed; He warned us that this would happen. Just like with the no golden idols warning ahead of the stone tablets commands, God had Moses write these words way before they were taken into captivity in Babylon. Why? Because He knew they would do these very things. They had already proven to be stubborn stiff-necked people that preferred to worship anything but God, in spite of His love for them that He showed through miracles, signs, and wonders. He was telling them that because they chose other things to worship they would have to suffer the consequences, however, He wanted them to know ahead of time that He would make a way for them to return to Him. Only a loving Heavenly Father would discipline those He loves and make a way for us to return to Him
These words should encourage you and anyone who reads them, that wherever you are in your life, no matter your sins, He had made a way for you to return to Him. God loves His children so much that He even pre-planned before the beginning of time to send His son to die for our sins so that we could be reunited with Him. Why? Because HE LOVES US!
Since you were most likely not taught the “forever” instructions He gave us, I will share them with you now. You will be stunned by what you read. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you see what He is trying to tell you here. I am praying for you also.
Blessings for Obedience
“1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.” Deuteronomy 28:1-14
As there is a beautiful short list of blessings for obedience, there is also an extensive very detailed list of curses for disobedience. There are 54 verses of what not to do according to God. It would be in your best interest to grab your King James Bible and study Deuteronomy chapter 28 in its entirety. This particular chapter is a great example of why this Holy Bible is our instruction book for life, and also interesting to note that pastors never teach this. The enemy doesn’t want us to know these truths. Seek them out and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you all His truths that you have never been taught.
The reward for those who choose to believe
We are told all throughout scripture that we will be condemned and persecuted for our faith in God and in His Son Jesus our Messiah. Jesus warned us about this while He was here in the flesh on earth during His ministry. Also while He was here in the flesh, He was continually judged and persecuted, then crucified and nailed to a wooden cross. He told us not to worry or be dismayed, warning us to expect these things to happen to us for our faith in Him. He told us that He would not forsake us; we may feel like we are alone, but He said He would be with us always (Matthew 28:20). Then He made a beautiful promise to us if we would persevere through the storms of this life with Him:
“1 Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again,
and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”
John 14:1-4
“32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come,
that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone:
and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you,
that in me ye might have peace.
In the world ye shall have tribulation:
but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:32-33
Look up for your Redeemer draweth nigh!
TIME TO GET EXCITED!!!
“15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,
that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord
shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
1Thessalonians 4:15-18
Return to Him while there is still time
There is very little time left to return to Jesus, but He is still knocking until His trumpet sounds to call up His Bride. If your heart is right with Jesus, you have lots to be excited about. Jesus is coming soon and we get to leave this wicked world for an eternity in blissful peace. On the other hand, it is a sad time, knowing that many will be left behind; people we know and care about, and countless people we don’t know – that Believers don’t want to see get left behind.
God tells us in His Word warning us:
“18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation,
that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light,
because their deeds were evil.”
John 3:18-19
“1 Gather yourselves together,
yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
2 Before the decree bring forth,
before the day pass as the chaff,
before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you,
before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the LORD,
all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.”
Zephaniah 2:1-3
“9 And I say unto you,
Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth;
and he that seeketh findeth;
and to him that knocketh
it shall be opened.”
Luke 11:9-10
God tells us what to do so we won’t be left behind. Many think it’s too late for them. God is repeatedly trying to get you to turn from your sins. He knows what the wicked are doing and He is still trying to get them to turn back to Him. Does that sound like a mean vengeful God?
“12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say,
Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD;
and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful, saith the LORD,
and I will not keep anger for ever.
13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity,
that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God,
and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree,
and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD;
for I am married unto you:
and I will take you one of a city,
and two of a family,
and I will bring you to Zion”
Jeremiah 3:12-14
The enemy has deceived so many into thinking that God is mean and doesn’t care about them. It’s a LIE! If only they would study His promises and truths themselves they would know how much He loves them.
Heart check time
Are you ready? Or do you know someone who isn’t and needs to learn God’s truth. If you have a hard time talking to your lost loved ones, share this blog and allow the Holy Spirit to tell them the truth.
Here are the steps to make sure your heart is right with Him. Don’t complicate the process for salvation. Keep it simple. Whether you have prayed this before, rededicate your life today and go “all in” with Him. It’s time for a deeper relationship with your Creator, Adonai.
Do the ABC’s and repent today.
- A: Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)
- B: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins and rose from the dead for you. (John 3:16-18, 1Corinthians 15:1-4)
- C: Call on Jesus and repent of your sins and turn back to Him and ask Jesus to show you the way. (Romans 10:9-13, John 14:6)
In closing,
Always ask Jesus what you should do in every situation. The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you. If it’s not okay with Him, He will check your spirit and you will have an uneasy feeling and doubt about going forward. Always follow Jesus; NOT your heart; our hearts are fickle and can’t be trusted. Listen to the Holy Spirit; He is trying to protect you. You have a choice to obey or ignore. Choose to obey and stay under His protection.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick;
who can understand it?”
Jeremiah 17:9
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.“
Proverbs 3:5
“When you know you grow!”
