Alert! Wake up call for Believers in Jesus!

Will your “good works” for God
get you into Heaven?

Listen up Believers:
the good people
doing many great works for God.

Find out today if you are getting into Heaven

Let’s start here.
Have you read or heard this verse before?

Jesus says here:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven,
only those who do what my Father in heaven wants.
On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’
Then I will tell them to their faces,
‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’
Matthew 7:21-23

How could this be? If someone is doing the above “good works” for God, how could they not be allowed into Heaven?

Growing up in church, I never totally understood this passage of scripture. Today, God changed all that for me. Out of His love and great mercy, He showed me the meaning through the testimony of a pastor from Uganda named John ; it rocked me to my core! I shook me up and made me cry because I could relate to his testimony; I had a similar but different encounter. God told me He wanted me to share this ten-year old testimony with you; it’s very relevant today! He has something here He wants to tell you and it’s very important. The message in it will determine whether you go to Heaven or not. Be blessed by this story and then bless others with it, while there is still time. We are living in the last moments!

A wise respected pastor was asked one day why he always says “we are living in the last days;” he had been saying it for forty years at that point. He responded, “we’ve been living in the last days since Israel became a nation in 1948.” When you read the Holy Bible you learn what he is talking about. In 2024, we are living in the last hours and moments according to scripture. What an honor and a privilege to be able to spread the Gospel in these last moments before Jesus returns. God loves us so much He breathed His plan into the Holy Bible so we would know what is coming, the signs to look for,  and how to prepare.

The Youtube video of John’s testimony is:
A call to repentance through John Mulinde’s testimony.

It’s long but it’s so worth it; the revelation will rock your world.

The referenced video will make the above scriptures from Jesus clear to you as John shares his heart-wrenching testimony that culminates with a scary conversation with Jesus. In this conversation John is horrified to learn what Jesus thinks about his “works” for Him. He thought he was doing the work of the Lord. He thought He had obeyed God by giving up everything for God making the ultimate sacrifices for Him. He learned that day what Jesus meant in the story in Matthew 7 above.

This testimony reminds me of when Moses finally answers the call to go deliver the Israelites from Egypt, and on the way back to Egypt God was going to kill him because he still had unrepentant sin (Exodus 4).

Both of these men chose to follow God, but NOT wholeheartedly. It does matter to God for us to be “all-in” with Him.

“You must be wholehearted with Adonai your God.” Deuteronomy 18:13

“He prayed, “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven and earth. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion.” 2 Chronicles 6:14

What happened?

“You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” Hebrews 1:9

Did you know that God put a calling on your life before the creation of the world? He prepared you for your calling. You started out well; leaning on Him and trusting Him. What happened? What went wrong? Why did you turn away from Him?

Answer:You got caught up in the attention, the popularity, your followers, the money, the things, the prestige; you preferred the praise of the people over God’s love for you.

You do good things for people, but it’s no longer about honoring God, it’s about you and what you can accomplish without Him. You want the glory all for yourself. No judgment here; it happens to everyone. God is bringing it to your attention today to give you a chance to get back on His path.

Wait! What did I do wrong?

Once you get off His path and take your own (knowingly or unknowingly), everything changes. You are still doing “good works” for God, but in your way, not His. You get so caught up in your “power” that you can’t see your sin anymore.

“They dress the wound of my people, but only superficially, saying, ‘There is perfect shalom,’ when there is no shalom.
“They should be ashamed of their detestable deeds, but they are not ashamed at all; they don’t know how to blush. Therefore when others fall, they too will fall; when I punish them, they will stumble,” says Adonai.” Jeremiah 6:14-15

You think you are doing what He wants you to do, but in reality you are doing what you think is best and expecting Him to bless it; since you believe that it’s “for Him” that you are doing this. The enemy has convinced you to believe in your own lies; they have become your new truth.

God knows. God sees. He does not approve. Your sacrifices and good deeds don’t matter to Him; He wants your obedience.

“But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.” 1 Samuel 15:22

How God feels about His church

“Listen, O heavens! Pay attention, earth! This is what the LORD says:
‘The children I raised and cared for have rebelled against me.
Even an ox knows its owner, and a donkey recognizes its master’s care—but Israel doesn’t know its master. My people don’t recognize my care for them.’
Oh, what a sinful nation they are—loaded down with a burden of guilt. They are evil people, corrupt children who have rejected the LORD. They have despised the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. Why do you continue to invite punishment? Must you rebel forever? Your head is injured, and your heart is sick.” Isaiah 1:2-5

(NOTE: “House of Israel” includes all God’s followers, Jews and Gentiles = sojourners and foreigners)

Your Heavenly Father, your Creator, Adonai, yearns for you to turn from your sins. Turn back to Him and let Him bless you; He wants to spend eternity with you but you must turn away from ALL sin and follow Him wholeheartedly. He is speaking, are you listening?

  • He is trying to tell you that doing good things for Him, but in your human ways, are not earning you any favor with Him.
  • For those leaders who have taken their own path “for God” to serve Him in their own ideals, allowing people to live in their sin and tickle their ears with what they want to hear, are sinning greatly.
  • To the mega churches: The entertainment industry belongs to satan. Why have you turned God’s house into an evil house of entertainment with no conviction of sins?
  • For those who have loved ones and “friends” that are living in sin and you accept their sin as – no big deal, it’s not my problem, I love them and I’m not judging them – you are guilty of condoning it for not calling out their sin. That sin is on you as well! (Ezekiel 3)

“Why do you continue to invite punishment? Must you rebel forever? Your head is injured, and your heart is sick. You are battered from head to foot—covered with bruises, welts, and infected wounds—without any soothing ointments or bandages.” Isaiah 1:5-6

God’s people have believed the lies and are lead by the enemy to believe that this is their life. They think they have to live in the filth and pain stated above. Jesus died for you so that you don’t have to live like that. His heart is grieving for you to turn to Him.

For there are many good people who say they are believers in Jesus, but are not living wholeheartedly for Him and obeying Him in all things. He is calling you now to repent, but, not forever. There will come a day when He will not call you anymore. We are in that season when Jesus is going to call up those who are wholeheartedly following Him. When He does that – His Holy Spirit goes before them.

If you think the world is hard to live in now while the Holy Spirit is here to protect those who allow Him to, try to imagine a world without Him. A world where you can no longer pray. A world without any hope or peace. It’s unimaginable! It’s unthinkable! You don’t want to be here! He is warning you!

Scriptures says
He does nothing without warning first.

He is warning now!
Listen up!

He says, “Yes, I will punish those who participate in pagan worship ceremonies, and those who fill their masters’ houses with violence and deceit.” Zephaniah 1:9

On that day of judgement that is fast approaching God will find and punish those who chose not to follow Him wholeheartedly; those who believed the lies that He would do nothing good or bad (Zephaniah 1:12). It will be a bitter day, a day of wrath. You don’t want to be here.

“Gather together—yes, gather together, you shameless nation.
Gather before judgment begins, before your time to repent is blown away like chaff.
Act now, before the fierce fury of the LORD falls
and the terrible day of the LORD’s anger begins.
Seek the LORD, all who are humble, and follow his commands.
Seek to do what is right and to live humbly.
Perhaps even yet the LORD will protect you—
protect you from his anger on that day of destruction.”
Zephaniah 2:1-3

Wait! There is still hope, for now…

Just like this pastor John shares in his testimony, there is still hope if you will turn to Him today and repent.

He shares this truth from Revelation 3:1-6

“Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars: “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead.
Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. I find that your actions do not meet the requirements of my God.
Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief.
“Yet there are some in the church in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes with evil. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.
“Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” Revelation 3:1-6

Jesus loves you and wants to spend eternity with you!

“Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9

While there is still time, give up everything and turn to Him. “Everything” means: everything and everyone that matters to you. Lay them all down and walk away. Don’t be like the man who was following Jesus until Jesus told him he had to give up everything to follow Him (Matthew 19:20-22). Nothing this world offers, not even your family and friends, can get you into Heaven; in fact, these things and people can keep you from going to Heaven. Don’t risk your eternity for them, it’s not worth it.

You may say, “it’s impossible to give up everything.” I’m here to tell you from firsthand experience, it IS possible. It was extremely painful letting go of everything and everyone, but Jesus carried me through it all. I could not have done it without Him. All things are possible through the power of Jesus.

“But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

“There is no human effort that can fulfill the standard of the Lord.
We can do nothing in our own power;
but in the name of Jesus.
There is power in His name.”
John Mulinde

“LORD, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power.” Jeremiah 10:6

In closing,

Choose today to lay it all down. If you still are not convinced that Jesus is your Savior and your hope, or, you don’t believe He has forgiven you of all your sins, I have a two-part challenge for you.

First, open up your Bible and begin reading in the book of Matthew and keep reading through the rest of the book until God tells you to read in a different area. Trust me. He will at some point lead you to other areas of the Bible to read something He has for you.

The second part of the challenge is to pray for God to help you read it through child-like eyes. This is key! Do this also.

God will take it from there. He will lead you and speak to you and show you things that will blow your mind (Jeremiah 33:3, 1John 2:27). Have fun! This challenge will transform your life.

In the meantime, do this first. Let’s make sure your heart is right with the Lord so that you can enjoy getting to know Him and what He has for you. Don’t complicate the process for salvation. Keep it simple. Whether you have prayed this before, rededicate your life today and go “all in” with Him. It’s time for a deeper relationship with your Creator, Adonai.

Do the ABC’s and repent today.

  • A: Admit that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • B: Believe in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for your sins and rose from the dead for you. (John 3:16-18, 1Corinthians 15:1-4)
  • C: Call on Jesus and repent of your sins and turn back to Him and ask Jesus to show you the way. (Romans 10:9-13, John 14:6)

May God bless you and keep you.

“Put everything to the test.
Hold on to what is good.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21
