What to do during these times of chaos in our world

What to do in times of chaos in our world?

Discover the secret
to finding hope and peace in the midst.

What’s going on in our world? There are fires raging, floods ravaging, tornado’s, hail, and storms destroying like our world has never seen in its history. The government has always told Americans that UFO’s didn’t exist, but now, they tell us, never-mind, just kidding, they do exist, causing great distress for many.

Unless you are totally absorbed in your own life, you can’t help but notice that we are living in perilous times. (2Timothy 3:1) This should come as no surprise since we are living in the end-times. In fact, Timothy gives us a great breakdown of what the end-times will look like so we will know when the season arrives and what to expect. When you read chapter 3, you will see that there has never been a time in history that all of the things Timothy lists were all happening at the same time, until now.

The increase in personal videos people have taken and shared has caused such fear that people are screaming in fear in the videos while watching and recording the destruction; as a result, the use of curse words are flowing like water. Scripture says in Luke 21:26, that men’s hearts (all non-followers of Jesus, not just men) will fail them due to the weight of the fear at seeing the wrath of God’s anger. Of course, many don’t call it God’s anger. Instead, they are giving the credit to Mother Nature, the government causing the catastrophe’s, or blaming it on the aliens. In the midst of the fear and destruction of our world as we know it, people who don’t know God, don’t realize that He is in control, period. Nothing happens unless God causes it to happen, or allows it to happen. Period! He is the one true living God that created this world and everything in it.

“See now that I, yes, I, am he; and there is no god beside me. I put to death, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; no one saves anyone from my hand!” Deuteronomy 32:39

Repent NOW

This message is not meant to add fear to your life, but rather to give you hope that your loving Heavenly Father who created you, wants you to worship and obey Him. In doing so, He will comfort and care for you for eternity. So He will also care for you while in the chaos on this earth.

He sent His son to die for you, then He sent His Holy Spirit to teach you all truth. He is a good, good Father who loves you very much. (John 3:16, 1 John 2:27)

The only thing we should fear is His wrath that will come upon those who don’t believe and obey Him.

If you aren’t sure if you are on the “winning team,” His team, turn to Him today and repent, while there is still time. Repent of your sins, ask for forgiveness, and He will show you the way. Follow Him, cling to Him. Study His Word, that’s where you find truth, and it’s also where you find everlasting hope and peace.

What now?

Now that you have repented and given your life to Jesus. It’s important to get right into God’s Word, that is the only place you can find truth. We are surrounded by lies swirling around us all day everyday. The only way to stay grounded in Truth is to stay in God’s Word, His truth; that’s the only way you will recognize the lies.

As with any book, you should read it cover to cover. With the Holy Bible, you need to “study” it cover to cover, Genesis to Revelation, to have a clear understanding of God’s plan for His people, all those who follow Him. Begin in Genesis 1:1, the Holy Spirit will meet you there and show you things you’ve never known. (Jeremiah 33:3) If you need immediate understanding of Jesus, and to get to know Him, now that you have given your heart to Him (totally), study the Book of John, the fourth book of the Gospels in the Second Testament.

Even if you are a lifetime church attender, do the above process. There’s so much to unlearn that you have been taught, so that you can allow God to teach you the truth, finally.

While you are focused on Jesus and His Word, you won’t have time to focus on the world and it’s growing chaos. When you do see it, you will no longer fear it, or what is coming in the world, because you now understand that you are not of this world, but in it for a short time. You are Heaven Bound! As you see the chaos around you, you can simply say, thank you Jesus that this is not my home or my problem. Thank you for protecting me and rescuing me out of this soon. Amen.

Memorize and pray everyday, Matthew 6:9-13, The Lord’s Prayer. Jesus taught this specific prayer with the specifically chosen words for us to pray everyday, for a reason that we can’t fully understand. There is power in this prayer. Learn it, pray it daily. The daily practice is life-changing.

An important passage to increase your faith

Here we are going to break down an important passage, Psalms 27, that you should consider learning and praying everyday. You don’t have to memorize, print it out and read it everyday. Here we will help you understand the importance of praying it out loud everyday during the growing state of chaos in our world today. It will give you peace and comfort.

If it’s on a piece of paper it is safe and can be read even during the tribulation, if you are here. During the coming tribulation, Bibles will be banned. Memorization of God’s Word is always recommended.

With this breakdown, it will help you have a better understanding of what you are praying and what He is doing when you speak these words back to Him each day. Remember, the fire that goes up when you pray. Keep those fires burning. Keep praying.

The Lord Is My Light and My Salvation

Vs. 1: The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

With God, we have no need to fear, even unto death. With death, we are with Him. He protects us regardless if it’s on earth or in Heaven. When you see fires, floods, or storms, you can rest in His peaceful arms; not trembling.

Vs. 2: When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.

He protects His children from their enemies. We don’t have to fear the chip in our hand or the Orb (eye identification), or the fate of the American dollar. We can rest in His arms as our enemies swarm around us trying to bully and intimidate us. We are under His mighty, powerful protection. Our trust is in Him. We do not have to be afraid.

Vs. 3: Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.

Wars and rumors of war are swirling around us and we need not fear. He will protect us regardless.

Vs. 4: The one thing I ask of the LORD—the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

The only thing that matters: spending eternity with Him. That should be our only focus no matter what comes our way. It’s difficult to imagine the joy and peace we will live in for eternity with Him, but a beautiful promise to cling to for sure.

Vs. 5: For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock.

This is one of my favs. Jesus is our Rock, the rock of our Salvation, our Cornerstone.  God sets His children upon His Rock, His Son, Jesus, our Messiah. (see also: Exodus 33:21, SOS 2:10-17[14])

Vs. 6: Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the LORD with music.

You can praise and worship Him in the midst of the storms around you, and in the midst of the pain you are going through. Cling to Him continually and the promise of a peaceful eternity with Him.

Vs. 7: Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me!

Oh, and He does hear you! He loves it when you connect with Him. He delights in your time together. He truly doesn’t want you to stop. He always answers. It’s just in His time and in ways that He knows are best for you. Be sure not to tell Him how to answer your prayers. He knows best.

Vs. 8: My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.”

Hear Him calling you?!? Yes! It should make you feel so loved that He is calling you always. It’s hard to hear Him calling with all the noise. Make Him a priority over all distractions. Talk to Him through the noise and chaos. It helps give you peace in the chaos.

Vs. 9: Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation!

God created us, He knows we make mistakes. He has provision for those moments. Turn back to Him immediately and repent. He forgives you; forgive yourself and move on with what He has next for you.

Vs. 10: Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close.

Many many people have been abandoned by one or both of their parents, whether it’s through death, or in life. God never leaves us, ever! We are never alone! (Matthew 28:20) Be comforted in that promise.

Vs. 11: Teach me how to live, O LORD. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me.

Our loving Heavenly Father is happy to show us His way. All we have to do is ask, and keep our focus on Him. He will keep us from stumbling but if we make a mistake, He is there to pick us up, forgive us, and put us back on His path for us. Trust Him.

Vs. 12: Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done; with every breath they threaten me with violence.

God knows all. He knows the truth. He knows the battles you face. Be comforted in knowing that He knew you would be persecuted and He made provisions for that already. Your enemies will pay when God says it’s time. Trust His promise.

Vs. 13: Yet I am confident I will see the LORD’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

Herein your peace resides, in His promises. You can rest assured in His promises and look upon the world and its threats and lies with absolutely no fear. Picture your big, strong, Heavenly Father standing behind you and the enemy’s look of fear on his face and rethinking approaching you with that protective look on your Heavenly Father’s face standing over you. There are things going on in the spiritual realm to protect you that you can’t see. Trust your Heavenly Father.

Vs. 14:  Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.

His timing is PERFECT!!! No matter your circumstances, your losses, and your pain, God’s timing is perfect. Hang in there. Trust Him. He is working a plan you cannot see. You can trust that it’s better than you can imagine. Keep believing. Keep clinging to Him. Keep studying His Word until He calls you up.

Feel better? Doesn’t that just fill you with His hope and peace once you see how much He loves you?
